Rain didn't look back as the stranger dropped her home. Coz it wasn't her home. Not the one she was living in right now, but the one she had spent her childhood in.
Her body was no more shivering, her legs were no more shaking as she took a step towards the building. Her phone had been vibrating for a long time, but she hadn't picked it up. Like she was walking in a trance. Putting one foot after the other, she had started to cross the road in front of her. The light of her old room was on. Whoever was living there was up.
Her hands held the cuffs from the end, and she pulled them over her head. And dropped it at the end.

She came out of the house and looked around. The street had gone quieter and much empty. There were still people around, it was such a street, even at night, you would see someone or others walking around. But Rain didn't care about it, as she kept on walking, returning to her new home.
