I blink for a second and press the Y button. This is the first time the system appeared just after I woke up.

I sit on the bed and brace for something to hit my head. However, after waiting for a few seconds, nothing happened. I open my eyes and look at the system in front of me.

I frown a little and open up my phone. I check my wallet and see I just got a thousand two hundred bitcoin. I don't need them because I still have many bitcoins in my wallet, but I will take them.

I will not reject free money.

I get up from the bed and stretch a little. After fixing my bed, I get to the bath and clean myself. Today is an easy day. We only learn theory and train our magic casting speed—no sparring or physical activity.

After taking a bath, I go downstairs and cook some breakfast. A bowl of fried rice and fried vegetables on the side is done. I eat all the food and take my bag.

I look at Yuki, asking for help. The nekomata sighs and pulls the vixen away from me. I can see Karin pouting at both Yuki and me. After getting put down by Yuki, Karin looks at me and says,

"Anyway, I will tell them about you, and they will soon call you."

I look at my best friend with a serious expression. Karin looks at me and gives me a gentle smile.

Karin looks at me with a serious expression.

"I like him, and I don't want him to hate us. I already lost a point for what I did but I know it will not make him hate us."

Karin gives me a bright smile and says.

"Of course! Anyway, come on! I'm hungry and want to eat some ramen!"

I smile and follow her. Karin is an enigma to me. However, she is still my friend.

I look at both young women in front of me for a few seconds and release a sigh. Karin gives me a grin while Yuki looks guilty.

It's been five days since I asked Karin to search for people that can make a barrier around my house, and behold what I learned. The people she recommended are Yuki's parents.

"Karin, I know you want to help Yuki, but you can tell me the truth. I know you did not want to make me feel bad and pity you but you can tell the truth."

"We are sorry."

Karin and Yuki speak at the same time. I sigh a little and say.

"Fine. Anyway, come on. I will give you a tour to my house."

"Yay~"

I sigh a little when Karin jumps at me, and now I must carry her. I can't stay mad at them. I take them to the basement and show them the training room.

"This is the training room. Yuki's dad is the one making this one. I must say that this is great."

It cost me over a billion JPY for all the renovation, documents, and barriers around the house. They manage to make an underground facility that lets me train and experiment. They also manage to let me buy the land and property. The barrier allowed me to train my magic without any worry about being noticed by mundane people.

Not only that, but they also make a barrier to notify me if someone gets inside my home. That is among many protective functions of the barrier.

"Eh~ This costs you a lot of money, right?"

I shrug a little and say.

"Yeah, it is a little bit pricey but the result is good."

"You pay more than a billion!"

I look at Yuki and smile.

"Yeah, a little bit pricey."

I need to sell quite a bit of bitcoin to pay them, but I'm happy with the result.
