Chapter 26- The forest island

A sudden flourish of wind waved around us like strong sound waves as an island rose from under the island. You first get see of the trees on top than the dirt soils along with the grass and flowers that the tree grew from. The ground leveled with the central Gintama island and the teacher tirelessly lifted up his right arm and pointed towards the tree island is a half drop finger, signalizing to get over.

This all happened before the dust from the air covered our views.

[Command: Solidify]

I made an invisible field around myself to stop the dust from getting to me as I left the air pass because I like it. The dust in the air that was about to hit layered themselves on the field. As the wind ends and the island is stabled from the previous small bouncing to stop at the right spot, I disbanded the field. The dust on it fell to the ground.

The air the spoused from the island finally cool down along with the dust in the air as I look a clearer look at the island. I realized a role of wooden simple designed houses were at the top of the trees as I took my first steps forward to the island. Most of my class were already lined up due to them probably moving during the dust. I got closer to, now behind a lot of my classmates that was hopping over the edge to the island. I looked down to the branchless bottom parts of the tree, seeing some rocks that half stick out from the tree with half stuck inside. A little of the rock showed as it was mostly covered over by a rough layer of leaves.

The whole lot of 20 people from my class jumped over, and the last to do so was the teacher that was still on the Gintama island. He walked stretched his legs and go over as the rest hopped. We lined in a curved rectangular shape facing the teacher as he started to speak.

"Umm… Do whatever you want, the island will start to move in about 2 minutes so be prepared."

The teacher went to the trees. He slept under the shades as the student's eyes followed him until they realized he was not showing anything and was just being lazy. The students turned around to the trees with some that lied down and some that climbed the tree through the leaved stones on the trees or just climbing on the actual wood.

From the previous knowledge that was given to us on Monday, we're now heading to up to the middle point, and that will take about 30 minutes with this slow thing. There was about a minute left before the island moves as Sugi and I laid down on a dried tree rot basket with four tree vines that attach itself with equally separated spaces on the edges of the lightly curved basket that we're sitting on. The four vines move inward towards the middle of the basket as it gets higher up until thy wrapped around each other to form a single vine 3 meters up.

The base of the basket was loose with free space that you can poke through. I took a look up to see the four vines connected to our sides touching. A sudden opinion came into my view, allowing me to activate a new command.

[Command: Drop]

The knowledge cube from both Sugi and mine sent some information about our weights. The wine that the four combined to form leads up to a wooden spinning wheel near a large tree truck with various metal lines nailed into it that dangles down and attached to a wooden walk path. The wines wrap around the wheel once and have a short 50cm part sticking out on the other side of where the basket is, tens of meters taller.

As the commands fully activate, a piece of the square item was solidified which increased in both size and weight over time. The solidify was not in my control, but it was a command that started the chain relation. I looked up from my laid down position with Sugi curved up around the popped-up edges of the basket facing inside, as her stomach was facing my upwards facing head. I looked at the top of the wheel which I see with the background filled with small orange leafed trunks with some in front as well. As the weight of the item at another end of the robe increased, we're pulled up slowly. When the item was equal to our combined weights, we were at the middle point of the ground and the wooden walk way that connects together some houses that were built on large branches, though not close as big as the one that stretches across the sky from our perspective. As the item got to double our weight, we're on para with the surface of the wooden walkway.

I pulled forward with now my back up and stood up and placed a foot outside of the basket onto the wooden walk path. I place most of my weight on that leg and got myself out of the basket and onto the walk way with my left hand grabbing onto one of the four wines that happen to be on the side of the walking path. I was out, and so is Sugi as I place my palms on the back of the upper part of my leg and bent my back ever so slightly. I bent back forwards to admire the orange coloured leaves that were scattered all over our views on the brown branches that surrounded us.

I decided to take a left, passing many wooden cabins and up a two-parted connected stair case with a metal line connected to the middle of it on both sides. The small separated stair case leads up to a new circular platform separated into five different sized circular platforms. I walked off the stair cases onto the first circular platform; it was normal as I looked my look around as I always do. Over the circular platform on the other is three broken up roots with each being fairly straight roots with a flat chop through the top to make it flat. I got onto the second layer…

-It drops

I thought as I harried to activate a solidify command but, it stopped about 20cm down, it stops with the edge being higher than the outer edge that I was standing on. Look in front of me to the place where the same circle leads to on the other side, that part flipped up on the opposite of the amount I fell. I turned my eyes to the middle part of the same circle, between the up and my down part was there it didn't charge.

I stepped closer to the middle onto the next circle.

It happened again and again until I reached the small middle circle with no circle on the inside. It lowered and lifted without any changes on which part you are on.

Sugi looked over, not wanting to deal with the mess and took the outermost circle which was stable and walked around to the place I was heading as I walked over the circles to the other side.

There were three routes connected to the other side's outer circle with each being large trucks with the top chipped off in a straight line to make a safer walking surface. The walking part of the top was in light brown wood while the other parts show a clear amount of uneven skin with a rough edge. I followed the right one that came up from beneath the circular platform. The walking surface was flat but not sandpapered or took cared of, leaving it with some piece peeling out and overall giving it a rough feel. The walking path had a good width ranging from about 2m for people to walk on. I walked and walked on it, getting to see occasional small branches sticking up from the sides of the truck walk way.

Passing the countless blowing leaves from the nearby branches that never got in the way of the walking as a good experience mixed in a soft breeze of air. I step forward and another I took. I looked up as I continued to walk on the slight changing tree truck as it got few millimeters thinner by every few meters. The place above me was filled with large leafless trucks that stretches out like spider webs with many small young brunches fading the view of those trucks by a spray paint of many coloured leaves. The place was mostly in shades with the once a while sun beam that shoots down from the heaves before getting covered once again by the blowing multi-colored leaves that dances in the wind.

My breaths were calm and small, fluidly taking in small pieces and letting them out like a small stream of water flowing down a small river on a tropical island. The wind guides my hair back ever so light to make it flow to release some of the weight on top of my head.

Walked and walked without knowing where we are, about 13 or so meters above the dirt ground below. A small stream of the river came to my eyes along with a bit if stretched out circular leaves that belong to some other small trucks covering around the river in my view. The river was cleared out with some leaves in the air that I didn't focus on. The river's sides were covered by giant mushroom that could possibly hold up a human with a bit of blue lighted grass covering the ground. The river's bottom and most percentages of the sides were covered in many colour brown mixes of round stone with some purple light shining through the cracks of the thin layered brown rocks. The place was completely shades as you can see an amount of green light linking into our view from underneath the tree truck that we are standing on. The large amount of many human-sized leaves that sticks out from near the bottom of the newborn upwards carved green plant that's near the base of the large trees are another example.

I slide a point down as Sugi wore sticky aura on her shoe. She walked straight up with her head directly above me few meters away underneath the large tree truck that happens to flow this path. She had her legs up pointing to the sky while walking on the lower part of the truck above me, defying logic.

"Sugi, wanna go down to the mushroom place?"

She rolled her eyes down at me from the previous position of looking at the front.

"Sure"

She said as she bends her back a little and lifts her head to show me a small that find of looks like an unhappy face when she's upside down.

[Command: Photo]

A photo was taken from what I saw through my eyes at that command. I got a picture and sent it to her.

"Hm?"

Looks like she got it as she gave out another small smile.
