Chapter 10

Samantha's POV

The next morning when I woke up, i felt something heavy on my waist and something warm and comfortable on my back. I was still in a haze of my sleep, and didn't gave much thought to it. As soon as I closed my eyes again to get some more sleep, i was wide awake as soon as realisation of last night hit me. I then turn to look at the man beside me sleeping peacefully.

Then i remembered the events that happened yesterday. Goshh!! I am mated to the man i had crush on since i laid my eyes on him.

But now that i think of it, it was only natural for me to be attracted to him given that he's my mate.

I poked his cheek to confirm if he's actually there, not me dreaming about all this.

"I am going to take you down if you keep on staring at me like that." He said in his morning husky voice making me Yelp. His eyes were still closed and if it wasn't for that playful smirk on his lips, i would have thought I was imagining his voice in my ears.
