His eyes and her eyes

Lu Tiangming took off his clothes leaving on only his undergarment. He made his way towards his bath.

The large pool of water was so hot and even made bubbles, it was filled with medicines and some herbal flowers.

He sunk into the pool ignoring the huge wound on his shoulder which was left uncovered.

His almond shaped sharp blue eyes squinted and turned cold when he heard some movements behind him.

"Who is it?", Lu Tiangming asked coldly, he hated it the most when anyone disturbed him during his bath.

"Your highness... something happened just now... the third princess was kidnapped and is nowhere to be found.", the palace guard stuttered. He stood at a far distance, his hands trembling. He was really scared of this prince and this was his first encounter with the prince. He had heard that this prince had once ruthlessly killed a guard who had disturbed him during his bath.

Lu Tiangming signalled at the palace guard to leave.

The guard run away as if he was being chased by the devil.

Lu Tiangming slowly emerged from the pool, water dripped from every part of his body making him seem so hot and sexy.

His long black hair stuck to his skin.

He picked up the towel and wrapped it around himself before walking out into his chamber.

Even as a prince, Lu Tiangming had banned any servant from dressing him up. Therefore he dressed up by himself before stepping out of the room.

Han Jin was deeply asleep but was suddenly awoken by a commotion outside. She wished she could see what was going on outside but the window was simply too small to even see an ant. Han Jin's green eyes roamed around the room feeling restless, it seemed like whatever was going on outside was serious because she could heard the sound of swords.

At the same moment, Flowerless Nie kicked open the door and rushed in.

Han Jin gasped when she realized he was holding a sword which dripped of fresh blood, he was also covered in blood and was completely disheveled.

He looked totally different from the gentle and playful person she had seen a day ago.

"You...", Han Jin took a step back, her eyes were filled with fear.

"I'm not going to harm you. Come with me, Queen said to protect you", Flowerless Nie reached for her hand but Han Jin immediately pushed his hand away.

"Queen? Who's that? You're going to sell me aren't you?", Han Jin trembled and her eyes brimmed with tears.

"What? You don't who she is? And who the f*ck is going to sell you? I'm trying to protect you. Don't let me use force!", Flowerless Nie was getting annoyed.

"I...", Han Jin blinked and willfully took his hand.

Flowerless Nie froze and looked down at the small hands wrapped her around his. Her hands were so small that they could barely hold his. Her hands were pale and very cold.

"You...", Han Jin stuttered when she realized that Flowerless Nie was looking at her tiny little hand.

Was he planning on cutting off her hand?

She didn't even know who this guy was yet she had foolishly listened to him just like how she foolishly let that stranger take advantage of her.

Flowerless Nie snapped out of his thoughts and dragged Han Jin out of the chamber.

Han Jin almost screamed when they were suddenly surrounded by three palace guards who attacked them.

"Stay behind me...", Flowerless Nie pushed her behind him.

With his tall figure blocking her view, Han Jin couldn't see what was happening but could only hear the sound of swords clashing against each other.

"Let's go", Flowerless Nie turned around and chuckled upon seeing Han Jin's face which was filled with disbelief.

"You...You... killed...", Han Jin covered her mouth and looked at the pile of bodies on the floor.

Upon remembering something, Flowerless Nie tore off some part of his garment and covered Han Jin's face leaving only her eyes.

"Let's go", Flowerless Nie grabbed her little hand and they escaped into a forest.

"Where's everyone else?", Han Jin suddenly stopped in her tracks, the person whose image came into her mind was Shan Tian.

"Probably dead. Let's hurry if you care about your life", Flowerless Nie snorted loudly.

"Why...why are you risking your life to protect me? You don't even know me", Han Jin stopped once more and pulled her hand out of his.

"Because... Queen said to protect you with my life. I don't dare to disobey her", Flowerless Nie's lips curled up into a smile.

"Who's Queen? You've mentioned her a few times but I don't even know her", said Han Jin.

It was at this moment that Flowerless Nie carefully looked at her face and noticed her pare of rare jade like green eyes.

Her eyes were green like a jade treasure and they were so bright.

Her eyelashes were long and seemed to be hiding her eyes from the entire world. If one didn't look at her very closely, they would never notice it.

Even he, had not even noticed it all this while.

Flowerless Nie however snapped out of his thoughts.

"Let's leave now if you want to continue to live", Flowerless Nie was impatient even though he had a calm expression.

Unfortunately, it was too late for them to leave. They were immediately surrounded by a huge group of palace bodyguards.

"Too late, you can't leave here alive until you hand over the third princess.", Said an extremely cold male voice.

Han Jin trembled and turned to meet a pair of cold blue eyes, the person's face was covered in a mask so she couldn't see his face but he seemed to be the leader of the group.

Lu Tiangming also noticed a small pair of jade like green eyes staring at him intently.
