River
Settling into his new role as Alpha of Swift Wolf, and having a new Luna to help him with his responsibilities for his own pack, Howling Moon, was an adjustment, but it wasn’t something that River minded. After all, he got to spend almost every hour of every day with his beautiful wife, and that made the changes well worthwhile.
Ellie seemed to be having more difficulties than he did. She was so used to handling all of the leadership duties for her pack that whenever someone came with an issue that was traditionally something the Alpha would handle, she’d forget that he was around and try to solve it herself--even when they were in his pack. Eventually, she’d remember that he also had a job and step back, but it always made River smile.
