Startled by the intensity of the statement, Mu was left speechless. It seems the Beowolf captain took her words seriously about her life's worth. A hand then grabbed hers and intertwined their fingers as it did so. A wave of affection rolled over her like a tide.
The emotion was so comfortable that she felt a peace that made her glad to be alive. Knowing who held her hand, the voice of her beloved husband then commented.
