It was unknown if he could still return the phone, or if the store he bought it from was still open. Yet the allure of the nocturnal lights was something hard to ignore. Thus, Hiro continued walking, eventually, he got to an intersection and was waiting for his turn to cross. The only bad thing part was it started to rain lightly.
On the other side were a middle-aged mother and her five-year-old child when the lights turned, both Hiro and the mother-daughter pair walked to cross. Suddenly however the sound of tires screeching echoed a short distance away from their position. A truck was barreling towards the intersection.
The vehicle was approaching at a frightening distance, and when Hiro saw the driver that fell asleep at the wheel, he gave up on the thought that it could stop on its own. The young boy was about to jump out of the way when he heard the mother from earlier screaming.
