CHAPTER EIGHTY SEVEN

"There you go" Karen said as she helped him with the hand aid and threw it over his shoulder

"Have you gotten through to Aunt Carla?" Hardin asked 

"I haven't. She isn't picking up her phone" Yale said 

"This shouldn't be happening" Carl said 

"Yes it should not be happening. If you haven't been an asshole, trust me, we wouldn't be in this mess. Beth would be here and we would be fine!" 

"We are fine!" Carl said

"Not for long. I can feel it. We are getting surrounded. They are quiet and careful with twhir movement but they are not so silent. There are about thirty of them" Hardin said 

"Yay Carl! Thank you for sending Beth off!" Yale said 

"I didn't send her off!" He screamed at Yale 

"Yes you did. You did this morning and you did again this afternoon!"

"Can the both of you just quit it? We need to decide and fight through this together. This arguments would be of no help to anybody!" She said
