Chapter 36: BLOOD'S SACRIFICE.

After the explosion of the mountain above the village in Alaska, Sharaletta, as well as Tesakai and Sesakayla, had all escaped into the world once more. Further out from them, Toronto had spotted the shuttle and dashed towards it. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, a bullet penetrated his leg and arm and caused severe bleeding. Toronto then lost his concentration and crash-landed a couple of miles away from the shuttle; as soon as he awoke, he heard a female voice speaking out in the distance. "You Knights are quite annoying, like flies you can't kill. I'm here for your gift; you do not need this stone. I will take this and claim it myself. Take care now." Mikalah then walked away with the Heartlin Stone and left Toronto, stoked by her performance. Toronto couldn't believe his eyes and thought to himself, "(She approached me and easily stool the Heartlin Stone like it was nothing. I wonder if she knows the stone's power; I doubt she knows which one she grabbed. Her marksman skills aren't too bad, she didn't even struggle at all, knowing where I was and even shot me directly in my leg. I can say that even I'm impressed; it looks like you would rather not take a chance at grabbing the stone in my mouth)" Shortly afterward, Sharaletta called Toronto through the communicators, "Toronto, do you copy? Please respond." Toronto responded to her quickly and warned her about the secret sniper woman he had not known, Sharaletta then called for the others who escaped, "Akaio come in, do you copy? I need to know if you and Aaron are okay." Akaio then buzzed on the communicator but remained silent for a few seconds. "Shara, Aaron, he's *sobbing* he's gone. He didn't make it, *sniffle,* He sacrificed himself to save me and to stop that crazy guy. *Sobbing*."

Sharaletta's heart stopped when hearing the news; Tesakai and Sesakayla were informed of the terrible and heartbreaking news. Sharaletta then gathered the remaining team members and proceeded towards the shuttle. Mikalah and Lewis were subsequently pulled back from the field by the head of the Solar Pyramid. Shara and her team then make their way into the shuttle to cover their fallen hero and break the news to King David, King Diarmuid, King Roy, and the Queens. Upon hearing this terrible news, the kings were overcome with sorrow, leaving King Diarmuid furious at the Solar Pyramids for their crimes. Diarmuid slammed his fist on his office desk, nearly leaving a significant dent on the top. King David's heart was quiet and morning for the death of Aaron, while Queen Tailzy expressed her grief with her tears and went over to a window and cried gently. King Roy then ordered Sharaletta and her team to return to Treesape immediately. "Shara, I know this isn't easy for either you or your members on board. Return to King David and return the two Heartlin Stones into safe hands.

Darcie, I recommend that you and your team continue to pursue your next and final Heartlin Stone; however, if you don't think you can continue for a little while, you may return as well temporarily." King Roy orders the two teams. Darcie's whole mind was blank, while Taski's heart was grieving, for he shared some excellent conversations with Aaron. Aaron was on everyone's mind at that moment; everyone mourned his death, and everyone at Treesape began to pray for the safety of its people. The citizens started praying to God for healing and protection over the Kings, Queens, Valkyries, and Knights. Darcie decided to continue their pursuit of the last Heartlin Stone. She felt it was best to make a quick and hasty move to recover it before anyone else beats them. Beyond the Asalikians, the Solar Pyramids' unknown boss pulled Mikalah and Lewis back into his dark lab. "My darling Mikalah, you're not injured, are you? It was my mistake to hire this idiot to lead you out there."

The boss then pulled in Lewis and used his psychic pull and levitated Lewis in midair, "You nearly got my daughter killed as well as your life. I am disappointed in you; you performed poorly and wasted much of your tech and mine. You are hereby discharged from your position in the Solar Pyramids, and I no longer want to see your waste of a face out here, EVER AGAIN!" The boss expressed his burning rage before Lewis and Mikalah. Lewis attempted to explain his plan and intentions to the boss but was prevented from speaking due to his unimaginable power. The boss began to apply force on Lewis's neck and slowly choked him until he couldn't breathe. Then out of nowhere, a portal then opens up and sucks up Lewis, which even surprises him, and he has no clue as to how this happened to him. His leadership startled the boss of the solar pyramid for the first time in many years. "Father, you didn't have to try to chock him, I take the lead in some situations. He was not a smart leader there, but I think you take this too far, father."

Mikalah expresses to him, but is then sent to her room without explanation, she obeys him and locks herself in darkness with many thoughts and questions. "(He didn't even check me for Heartlin Stone, crazy old man every so often.)"Mikalah thought further about the possibilities of her father's true intentions and plans, she stayed up all night thinking, but couldn't think of a potential explanation. "(My father keep his thoughts to only himself, he never shares any with me. He never even showed his face to me; I do not know who I truly am with. He could be fake or even a psychopath. I feel alone in this world like my only purpose is to kill everyone each day with my unknown power. I never met my mother, if she is even still alive; regardless, I am all alone in this broken, cold-blooded, sick, corrupted, fallen world. Free will for all souls is good, but some do not know how to use the precious gift given to them. Thus, some people die, and some live on; I feel I have no free will. Like a prisoner trapped inside a cage, only good for work and later on, just good for nothing. What is father's intentions for me, what is plans he promised me? Maybe he only uses me for the work he can't complete with the current state of his body, or perhaps he doesn't truly love me as said from his mouth. I may never understand the truth, ever.)"

Mikalah lies in her room, swallowed by her utter lack of knowledge about who she truly is, her mind wandering far into a deepness, her chest muscles tightening from worry and anxiety, and her body curled up like a cat. Mikalah then put her favorite music on through her music player and let the music carry her into a new reality of her world. The boss of the Solar Pyramids then stood in his dark lab with his hands on his metal tabletop. He stood in the dark, and thought to himself for hours about Lewis's sudden disappearance, "(Where could he have gone, where did that total failure of an employee run off to? It wouldn't surprise me if he put himself out into the hands of the knights; he more and likely surrendered himself over to that... horrible, lack of sense, piece of Irish bull, that TRAITOR! No matter, King Diarmuid and the other kings and queens will eventually fall to me or suffer my hand piercing through their hearts. Asalikith will bow to me and be under my control, and that prince will fall, just like his father. Long Live the King and Queen.)"
