Little description of Each Factions

Haven (Humans and Angels)

Worship: Elrath, Dragon God of Light and Purity (formerly Ylath, Dragon Goddess of Freedom and Air)

Alignment: Good

Haven represents the human faction in Might and Magic. They exclusively worship Elrath as their patron God, harboring a general dislike for other factions, particularly demons and necromancers.

Inferno (Demons)

Worship: Urgash, Dragon God of Chaos

Alignment: Evil

The Inferno faction comprises typical demons characterized by excesses of different emotions and a penchant for slaughter. Initially created by the Six Demon Overlords, they later fell under the control of Kha-Beleth, an intelligent and patient demon orchestrating significant events in Ashan.

Necropolis (Necromancers and Undead)

Worship: Mother Namtaru (Asha's Nightmare), Asha (Goddess of Creation)

Alignment: Evil

Necropolis worships Mother Namtaru, the embodiment of Asha's Nightmare. Asha, the Goddess of Creation and sister of Urgash (God of Chaos), plays a significant role in their dark practices.

Sanctuary

Worship: Shalassa (Dragon Goddess of Water and Serenity)

Alignment: Good

Sanctuary draws inspiration from Chinese and Japanese mythology, featuring water-based civilizations that prioritize harmony and peace. The Eternal Empress, chosen by Shalassa, leads this faction in Ashan.

Stronghold (Orcs and Creations of the Academy)

Worship: Ylath and Sylanna (Goddess of Earth and Nature)

Alignment: Neutral

Stronghold is a diverse faction comprising a mix of humans and demons created through experiments by the wizards of the Academy. Rebels against their creators, they worship Ylath and Sylanna.

Academy (Human Wizards with Slaves)

Worship: None, but they respect Sar-Elam

Alignment: Good

Academy consists of human wizards with numerous slaves involved in various constructions and creations. They respect Sar-Elam, a former wizard who ascended into a dragon god.

Dungeon (Dark Elves)

Worship: Malassa (Dragon Goddess of Darkness and Mother of Secrets)

Alignment: Evil

Originally Wood Elves, Dungeon faction turned to Malassa after a war with their brethren. They embody the edgier side of elven culture.

Sylvan (Wood Elves)

Worship: Sylanna (Dragon Goddess of Earth and Nature)

Alignment: Good

Sylvan represents the traditional wood elves, passionate about preserving purity and nature. They maintain an arrogant demeanor typical of elves.

Fortress (Dwarves)

Worship: Arkath (Dragon God of Fire)

Alignment: Neutral

Fortress consists of dwarves who, once scattered in clans, have united into a single civilization. Their worship of Arkath grants them control over fire and forge.
