41: Regret

After reaching the cultivation tower, it didn't take long for him to find the class he was assigned to as he had already seen it in the cultivation Tower.

The Elder which was supposed to help them learn about the basics of cultivation also entered the class not long after the last student.

"Okay, everybody can sit down." The Elder Commander then he went to what was the desk of the teachers and tapped on it, the desk hollowed out from the inside and from within it came silver metal orb.

The Elder, tapped 2 to 3 times on the orb and slowly the upper side of the orb started to illuminate the class and a hologram of the human body was shown.

Looking at this Knave was shocked, even though Vanessa had told him that the cultivation world was quite advanced compared to the normal human world.

He still hadn't thought that it would be so advanced, he didn't know how the metallic orb was showing the diagram in the holographic form but looking at it, he had a newfound interest of the cultivation world.

He thought that this world would be more like the Middle Ages, but the cultivators using the spirit energy had avoided harnessing the raw materials, which they used in the previous world such as petrol, oil and electricity instead, they had converted themselves to an even more advanced civilization based on Spirit energy itself.

"As you have all been admitted into the Flood Dragon Academy, most of you would know some of the basics about the cultivation world but as it's my job to help you learn what cultivation world really looks like I won't skip the start for all, as some of you might still be oblivious to it and for others, try to pay attention as this might be some parts that interest you later during the lecture.

As you have just entered most of you would know only that the first stage of cultivation is known as the Shackled Realm so let me first show you the shackles on the human body" after saying that he tapped on the silver orb again and 10 different areas which represented the ten Shackles on the human body were shown with red dots.

He continued, " As you can see these 10 shackles are present inside the human body, for proper channelling of the spirit energy during cultivation.

We have to break the shackles to start the true cultivation of the Dantian to ultimately connect ourselves to the spiritual energy around us.

As you have just entered you have not selected the cultivation manuals. So I will tell you that most of the manuals will have different types of cultivation requirements, some would start with the right hand while some would start with the left, some may even start with the shackle in the kidney while some may start with the leg.

Each cultivation manual depicts its cultivation in different categories at different stages but to help you understand the level of the manual, I will tell you that those cultivation techniques with start with the shackle between our eyebrows, which is also known as the Divine shackle are the best because it not only helps us decrease the time of our cultivation because, with the Divine sense, you can find and break the shackles more easily.

It also helps in Talisman building, Alchemy and array making, all these require the Divine sense so the first shackle to be broken if it is the Divine shackle, then it makes your future cultivation much easier.

But to get a technique which incorporates the Divine shackle as the first breaking point is very hard even in the academy.

There is only two to three manual such as this and it's only those who have entered the inner section or are at top of the outer section have the required points to own this manual.

So you should keep that in mind that, if somehow you get the chance to get such a manual you should try your hardest to get them without any doubt!!." saying till here the elder's tone started to have a hint of reminiscence, it was most likely that he had missed such an opportunity in his past and regretted it.
