Chapter 1: Ellie Newman

This story is about my adventures in my fine work as handler or should i say assistant.

This seems a little bit odd and mysterious and why I'm i applied to be a handler of a hunter?

But before we start i want you all to know me. Hi im Ellie G, Newman currently im a 20 year old mix raced."american/filipina".

Standing at 5'7 Burnett hair white skin..

Atlhetic body. Smart, resilient, and every boys want me to be their girlfriend. I'm quiet popular in my high school days.every atlhete want's to date a cheerleader.

But i dont like jocks and bullies.

And ohw also i have good grades and i got into colage with full ride!.

But every good stories had a dark side.

When i was 5 years old my mom died.

Elizabeth S. Gamboa. She is a pure blooded filipina who migranted here in the U.S.

But the thing is i never met my filipino relatives. I don't know if i have aunts or uncles in my mother side. The only thing that my dad told me that my mom is the only one who stays here. And all of them is in the Philippines. Even though i only met my mom for only couple of years. I have the best memories of her. How beautiful she is how great her cooking skill is and how she loved me more than anything else. She is the perfect mother for me. And then one day she left for a couple of days.

I remember the day she left..it was 2 days after my 5th birthday. I saw dad and mom arguing. And as they were talking i see my dad crying. Like he is begging for my mom to stay. But my mom is just sobbing and saying" im sorry i need to go". And the next morning my mom left. I ask my dad

Ellie: wheres mom?"with a sad and concern face"

Dad"micheal": she went to see your grand ma.

Ellie: who is grand ma?

Dad: you're grandma nieves..

Ellie: when she will be back?

Dad: couple of days maybe weeks baby...

Ellie: ok dad

During those time i never doubted my father. I respect him and trust him.

My father take care of me like my mo never left. And the couple of weeks after my mom left we receive a letter.

"We are sorry to inform you that elizabet S. Gamboa has died due to a car accident in cavite Philippines.."

I saw dad almost loose his mind when he read the letter. He was shouting and shouting full of rage and cursing at my grandparents name. And then i come to him and asked him "what happen to mom?"

And he replies "mom is in heaven now baby".

And after that we never heard from my relatives in the Philippines. My dad dont want to go there because of mom's family.

And we never see or know what really happened to my mom.

Fast forward im graduating high school and im going to collage! My exitement is off the roof!..my dad and i never talk about my mom ever again.so when he drives me into my university he just told me that "be back for thr hollidays ok!". And i never knew that it will be our last conversation. Month's has passed i never hear from my dad. I just think that he is busy working. And then a letter bearing a bad news about my father comes.

They found my dad unconscious in and right now he is in coma. I was shocked when i heard the news. So i rushed to get back home and see my dad. When i arrived i saw him full of bruises in his face like he was ganged up by hundreds of men. He is alive but he fell down in a deep coma. The doctors told me that he falls from a high structure that breaks his spine.the thing is if he wakes up he will not be able to walk again.

After the doctors told me my dad's conditions' i talked to the police who found my dad. And i ask..

Ellie: where did you found my dad?

Police: No mam we didn't found him.

Ellie: what do you mean?

Police: the hospital told us that there is a unknown man will full of bruises and unconscious was send here without any identification.

Ellie: So my father's belongings are gone?

Palice: yes mam

Ellie: And by the way how do you know how to contact me?

Police: well yeah.. actually the nurse told us that there is a guy who gives youre contact details to them and telling them that youre mr micheal newman's dauther.

Ellie: And who is this man?

Police: Sorry mam but the nurses told me that the just disappeared after giving youre info to them.

And just like what the police told me they say the same story. I ask around the hospital but they didn't know or see the man. Even in their cameras surveillance camera didn't saw the man or his face.

Weeks gone by i stayed with my dad.all of my aunt's and uncles has come to take care of my dad. Telling me to go back to collage.

But how am i go back if my dads is in bad condition. And plus the expenses for the hospital bills and other things he needs.

Where am i gonna get the money?

And then one day...

I feel a sleep in my fathers side when i see a women dress so professional i thought she is a lawyer. And she intruduce herself
