Muttering as he gazed down at the papers—the Lycan Kingdom maps escape routes and so forth scattered over the desk; the Beta sighed when another Gamma had inputted.
“Is this happening?”
“It seems we will finally get the war that we have been anticipating for a century, Gamma Bert.”
Flexing his fingers, another Beta leaned against the desk with a dark and brooding look in his eyes. He was not happy with the sudden turn of events.
“Will the Royals retaliate against the crown?”
Turning in the direction of another outspoken Gamma, who had questioned the King earlier, the Beta briefly nodded before straightening up.
“Enough useless thinking men, for you have heard his royal highness. We have work to do and things to accomplish.”
Nodding, the men left the room, but another Beta remained with his head bowed over a document, something the King had ordered him to do before he left.
“I thought you were not feeling well, Commander Crystal.”
