5: Heartbeat

Shanne is happy with her new school and her new friends.She's thankful that the 'despise girls' didn't bother her for the past few days.

But not on the next days.

LIBRARY:

"Ghost student,what are you doing here?"Kris asked upon seeing Shanne at the library.

She didn't bothered to look who's calling at her.She already knows without looking at him.

"Can't you see I'm reading?"she said without looking them.

"Ya!Look at us while were talking.Understand?"said Kris.

Shanne lift her head and look straight on Kris eyes seriously.

"Y-Ya!Why are you looking at me like that?As if you wanna------

"What do you want?"she cut his words,while frowning her face.She remembered what Choa said last time.She don't want to make enemies because of him.

"Have you already forgotten the debts you you had on me?"asked Kris.He doesn't know why his stammering in front of this girl?And why does his heart abnormally beats, after she gazed at him like that.

She didn't answered him,instead, she focused her eyes on the book that she's reading.

"Y-Ya!Ghost stu----

"Your stalker is coming."whispered Xiumin to Kris.They saw the stalker coming together with her friends.

"Haist!Ga ja!"said Kris and they leave quickly,before they can get nearer to them.

Choa called Kris,but Kris ignored her.She blamed it on Shanne.

"Didn't I told you to stay away from Kris?"Choa pulled her hair.

"He's all yours,I don't care about him!"Shanne said,trying to get away from her grip.

"Lier!I told you,you're in trouble once you don't stay away from him!"It seems like you're really looking for it."says Choa,still pulling her hair.

"Let go of my hair!"her eyes became teary,not because she's hurt by Choa,but she hurt because her eonni is just letting her friends bullying her.Even if she hates her,she still her younger sister.For Pete's sake!

"Ga ja!"The librarian might notice us here making a ruckus."Finally,Eunji spoke.

"But,Im not yet done,dealing this girl."protest Choa.

Eunji gave her a sharp look.

"I said,Let's go!"You can toy her some other time."Eunji said,and walked through out the library.

"Your lucky.But,I'm not finish with you."Choa said,and pushed Shanne into the trash bin,before she leave.

Shanne bumped the trash can that is full of shredded papers.The shredded papers scattered on the floor and onto her hair.

After putting back the shredded paper into trashcan,she walked out the library and went to rooftop garden.Suho said it's refreshing there,because of the flowers that planted there.

She let out her tears when she's already in the rooftop,without noticing that there is one person over there leaning on the bench near the flowers.

"Mean girls!"What?She can toy me some other time?What does she think of me,a toy?"Shane said.

"Eonni,your so mean!she shouted it loud.

Kai saw her coming while crying,he heared what she said,and she didn't even noticed his presence.

"Did you find it hard to study here?Why not go back from where you came from?"said Kai.

Shanne lift her head,and saw Kai leaning on one of the bench there.Even though she's sad,her heart wont stop from beating so fast.

"W-What are you doing here?"she asked.She's embarrassed because,he saw her miserably,her hair is so messy.

"This is my place.Well,since no one comes up here,so I called this place mine."he simply said.

"Why are you letting them to bullied you?Are you afraid of them that much?If you can bear it,then transfer to another school."Kai said seriously before he left her at the rooftop garden.

Shanne shouted angrily.

"I'm not afraid of them,I'm not fighting back, because my older sister is their leader,and I don't want her to hates me more!!"

She sat on the floor while crying.She thought that he already left her,but she saw him standing in front of her,giving a handkerchief.

She took the handkerchief and wipe her tears.

Kai bent down closer to her face.

"W-What are you doing?"Shanne froze as his face getting closer to her.She felt like she's not breathing anymore.

She thought that Kai would kiss her.But before she can close her eyes,Kai speak,breaking the magic moment.

"You had paper on your hair."Kai said,as he got the paper on her hair.

Shanne bent down her head.Her face turned red because of embarrassment.

"What am I thinking?"he whisper herself silently."I'm insane!"

Kai put a distance on them.

"Don't let them bully you again."Kai whispered only,but she heard it clearly.And then,Kai left here alone.

"They told me that he's not talking to anyone,then why does he talked to me and gave me her hankie?"She said to herself,she's a little bit confused.

After she calmed herself,she decide to go back to her classroom.

Kai and Shanne didn't noticed the presence of a girl that is looking at them,while they are talking earlier.

Or, does Kai didn't notice that someone is tailing him wherever he goes?
