"You awake?" Alex inquired, sitting before Roxie, who'd reverted to her human form. Covered with a single blanket, she lay before the amethyst-eyed boy.

"Yeah," responded the woman as she tightly held the blanket while sitting upright. Clutching her head due to the excruciating pain that assaulted her temples, Roxie directed a questioning gaze towards the boy. "You didn't try anything funny, did you? Because… I'm naked. I don't remember being this way before I passed out."

"Fixing your injuries was more difficult than it seemed," replied Alex. "I didn't see anything. It was all Sarah. Plus, I wouldn't have cared either way."

"You're odd for a teenager."

"You're odd for a human," snapped Alex. "Even though you're not. Tell me what a wanderer is doing on Earth. Isn't this one of the weakest planets?"
