Earthly Law

"Wait!" She interjected from afar, causing Eric's forehead to wrinkle. His footsteps came to a stop as he turned to face the woman.

"What is it?" He inquired, maintaining his guard as he stared at the traitors through the corner of his eyes.

"Since I'm the victim, don't I get to choose what happens to my assailants?" Sarah asked, to which Eric couldn't help but massage his temples in annoyance. He wondered what the woman could possibly want aside from their death.

Did she want their corpses so that she could desecrate them? Was she into necrophilia?

"What could you possibly want aside from their deaths?" Eric asked, relaying his thoughts into words accurately. He was perplexed by the woman's unexpected interjection, finding it to be utterly absurd.

"Let them go," said Sarah, causing Eric's eyes to widen considerably. Jeff and Eugene stared at her in disbelief as even Maxwell raised an eyebrow, subconsciously agreeing with Eric's notion.
