Alex unsheathed Durendal, allowing its silver hue to shine brightly. Ijskoud's attention immediately shot towards the silver sword. He inspected its strengths and weaknesses before narrowing his eyes.

'That sword is powerful,' thought Ijskoud. 'Judging by the faint glow, the boy is hiding the sword's true strength. He probably thinks I won't be able to figure out its secret until he uses his true strength. To be honest, he's quite powerful for a child. But still much weaker than me.'
