Kelvin had a hard time keeping his identity intact for the past week. It was as if Genevieve had become convinced that he wasn't her son and merely needed the evidence to confirm her claims. In one word, Kelvin was on tenterhook throughout and had to look thoroughly into Gabriel's history in order not to make a mistake.
He knew Gabriel well enough now, down to the type of underwear he chooses. At the moment, Kelvin was suffering from an identity crisis. He was into imitating Gabriel perfectly and he was losing bits and bits of himself. No, he couldn't remember much of his behaviorism anymore, nor would it surprise him anymore if he woke up one day and believes himself to be Gabriel.
Thanks to Genevieve's plots, Kelvin no longer sits for dinner with her and avoids the procedure by intentionally working overtime. He could count the number of times he has had breakfast with her since then and always have his guard up.
