"Where is Miss Brue?" Vincent carried in two trays and seemed to realize the cat was missing.
Mattheus lowered the newspaper he was reading and set the cup of tea back on its saucer. Seeing the valet come in with breakfast, he folded the newspaper up and set it to the side.
"She will meet us at the palace," Mattheus replied simply.
The twenty-year-old could understand why Vincent could have missed such a detail. Outside of Mattheus, who could always seem to sense Brunilda to a point thanks to the System's Familiar mechanic, most people had trouble noticing Brunilda unless she wanted to be noticed. Vincent probably made Brunilda's breakfast despite not seeing her yet this morning based on her rather easy-to-follow schedule.
After months, it would be odd if the valet had not noticed that the feline always followed Mattheus to the palace. Or basically whenever Mattheus went out by himself.
