While waiting for the barrier to be completely destroyed, everyone is busy preparing themselves because the real battle is about to start. Some of the military personnel that was chosen, the ones that were considered to be the best of their squads, were orient and thought by me using share knowledge on how to use some of the defense weapon mechanism of the island to help the twins and some of the alchemist to operate it.
I felt a presense watching me not from a far and using domain observation, I saw a huge american man staring at me intensely. Considering his huge size he definitely receive a blessing either from Mondor or Valac.
"Do you have a beef with that man, he is crazy staring at you, like he wants to swallow you alive?"-Daya.
Daya ask me, noticing it too.
"I dont know, honestly, I dont remember having a beef with anyone so far, but he does look familiar"-Demetri.
The huge american man switch his gaze from me and back to the labyrinth gate which the barrier surrounding it was now about to burst open and not for long ot completely shatters. The thick labyrinth miasma spread across the ocean, serving as the bridge between us and the labyrinth. The labyrinth monsters that were already outside the gate did not waste anytime and launches towards our direction.
"Commence attack!"-Demetri.
I shouted and the other hunters shouted as response and launch towards the enemy. Every giant type and beast type transform themselves to their final form. Every type of mages, offense and defense cast their spells and every fighter type hunters unsheathe their weapons and attack any enemy coming towards them.
I instruct Evienne to be in the back casting additional protection spells to all the hunters aside from the protection blessing already applied to the armor suits but I instruct her to not push herself. Before going to the back of the line, Evienne summon dozens of fiery phoenix and dragons to help with the battle.
The hunters that I already helped summoning their familiars also call out their familiars to help them fighting. Daya call out her sky whales, hundreds of the and was now infront of the line, in her semi monarch form because she was not fully recovered yet, leading the attack and behind her was Kalesi.
The defense mechanism of the island and the military, lead by Suda siblings, were also commencing their attacks, specifically attacking the flying type labyrinth monsters, but also attacking some monsters that try to circle around and burrowinf underground.
I summon both 2nd tier type summons which are elemental and dark entities and 3rd tier type summons, which are the angels. For them not to deplete my mana, I transfer their mana source to the mana cube in my staff. I also cast dimensional lock around the area to prevent any teleportation attempts the monsters will do but I change the spell a little ao that it will not affect the hunters who can do teleportation. I broke my staff into two to turn it into blades and attack nearby monsters around the area.
Dealing with only one Labyrith gate might bw a blessing but there are also cons to it, all the monsters inside the labyrinth were all now coming out this entrance only. I saw some hunters scared to step into the miasma so I shouted that its okay because of the deity protection spell of the suit, they will not be affected by the miasma like earlier.
"The armors you are wearing, comes with a protection spell from a deity, you will not be affected by the miasma like it did earlier, and if you are feeling your mana depleting and you suffer a grave injury, the armor suits also equipped with mana and miracle potions."
Hearing what I said, I saw both relief and doubt in the hunters faces. They try out what I said and when they feel and see that nothing happen to them, they get more confident and start attacking even on the miasma.
The small monsters number decreases but that just means that the bigger ones will be coming out of the Labyrith gate. I landed on the ground and observe some of the killed labyrinth monsters and see if I can do soul summoning to them, and its my luck because I can do it to some of the dead monsters. It looks like not all of the labyrinth monsters were a result of necromancy. Some of the monsters were still alive and corrupted instead.
Their body, like Daya, Kalesi, and the other beings corrupted by the darkness fragment might be affected but their soul are not, and observing it more, the corruption acts as a barrier, keeping the soul inside not letting it to pass on. Maybe, for the corruption to work, it still needed the soul.
I surround myself with a electric barrier so that no monster will cause distraction while I perform the soul summoning. I held out my palm to the dead labyrinth monsters and cast soul summoning.
"Come forth, Soul Summons"-Demetri.
The monsters surrounding me started glowing. The ball of light changes its form into the form of the body it once inhereted. I look into each of the summons stats and it ranges from Rank A to Rank B Class monters.
The new soul summons approach me,and the way they move and bow to me, feels like they were thankful, maybe because they were now free from the corruption of the darkness fragment. They all waited patiently on what I will command them. I ordered them all to attack the monsters coming out from the labyrinth, and they gladly oblidge.
The labyrinth monsters body that were corrupted disappeares after I did the soul summoning. I continue doing the soul summoning to the other labyrinth monsters that were not a result of necromancy until the last one. The island was now fill of glowing labyrinth monsters.
Just like what I did to the other summons I transfer the mana consumption of the soul summons to the mana cube, so that it will not affect me much and they can spawn infinitely.
