Chapter 0: Story of the Goddess of Fortune and the Lightning Hero

[third person point of view]

A very beautiful woman could be seen next to a gray humanoid silhouette whose gender cannot be identified. They were looking at a hologram that showed Andrius with his companions on the way to the foggy area. (I haven't chosen a skin for her yet, so for now let's just say she's beautiful and nothing more)

"Hey miranda... don't you think that, I don't know, you missed this time?" asked the gray silhouette to the goddess who was next to her.

The goddess or miranda bowed her head sadly as she thought of what she had done earlier.

(while looking at the meaning of the name, I discovered that miranda means "worthy of being admired" in some way it will fit her right? Being a beautiful goddess is worthy of being admired :v)

"Yes, she was so excited that she ended up giving her a lot of luck and now she has a great chance of ending up like in her last life" - said the goddess looking at the gray silhouette while looking at the ground thinking that her love may die again because of her ... again.

"Well... this time, if he dies it's not so bad now he's no longer a simple human without powers that anything could kill him, now he's a divine beast and he's also very strong in his range he won't die so easy, so lifts those spirits? - Said the gray silhouette while trying to encourage the goddess Miranda.

"Yes... but, I don't want him to die again because of me, it's already the second time he dies because of me"-she said as she fell deeper into depression.

"..."-the gray silhouette stared at her remembering the tragic story of this goddess in her ascension to divinity.

[Miranda Goddess of Fortune] Miranda is a woman who rose to be a goddess some thousands of years ago, that is, she is a young goddess for all the gods of the multiverse, she is the goddess of fortune who gives both good and bad luck ( It was not her own choice to be a goddess, much less one of the goddess of fortune), before she was just a normal girl from a small normal town, who had a fairly normal life but everything changed when she turned 15 and began to becoming a beauty, her great luck began... or her great curse.

She had a curse that caused her to have great luck... but, it was also that in exchange for that great luck she brought bad luck to the people around her, that is, while she enjoys luck to the others around her they fell into misfortune.

It all started very light for someone or her to notice, but little by little very bad things began to happen to the people around her, family, friends, acquaintances and strangers began to have very bad luck such as falls with scratches up to the death, everything happened in the small town where miranda lived and while she was beginning to live a great life at the beginning of the curse, because everything began to go well for her and somehow she was saved from falls that could kill her until he realized what was happening in the town.

Little by little in the small town of no more than 400 people each they began to die for different reasons from a disease that worsened until a beast ate them alive, an old man who lived in the town who was a human sorcerer realized but very late of what was happening and by the time he went out to see the cause of this, he found miranda with the curse or well, he only saw that she had good luck, so he thought that she was to blame for the bad luck of the villagers, so he told the other villagers about it.

The villagers of course were shocked at first and then they were very, very angry, they took Miranda as a witch who brought misfortune to her town that because of her her relatives, friends, etc. died just so that she had good luck.

In their anger they went to kill Miranda thinking that killing her would take away all the misfortunes that befell them, but they did not say that Miranda's luck had prevented her from escaping one way or another every time they tried to kill her.

Poor Miranda tried to explain that she did not know what was happening but of course the villagers and the old man did not believe her, thanks to her parents who knew her, she escaped far from the villagers, she had to watch from afar how her parents were burned because they were family of the witch who brought this misfortune to the town, for later somehow the whole town will start to burn in flames burning alive all those who lived in it.

With a tragic and lonely life, tragic because, even though she was not physically hurt thanks to her luck... but, mentally she was not so healthy, from seeing the death of her loved ones to inadvertently bringing misfortune to all her village, his mind did not last long and he had to isolate himself.

She knew a little but almost nothing about the magical part of the old world of hers, so she settled in a forest far from human civilization and stayed there for years while she tried to get rid of that curse that she had.

The years passed and it had been 10 years since he locked himself in the forest, in these years not many changes happened to miranda who was now 25 years old and was in her best moments, miranda in these 10 years had improved in her research on the curse that he had, but he had not yet managed to remove it, even though he learned a lot from her about how to give and take luck from people... but, every time he gave someone luck, this person spent all the luck of his life and always they ended up dying.

She sadly kept trying to find a way to control this but without much success, but without her realizing it with her experiments she earned the story that she was a goddess of fortune who gave people great luck but they always ended up dying Shortly after that, everyone who heard this story did not believe it but still tried to prove it, so thousands of people who thought that the same thing as others would not happen to them began to pray to Miranda for luck.

(This happened after months of spreading the story and little by little people will start praying to him)

Miranda did not know anything about this, she only knew that she began to gain a different energy than the one she used before and that it was very similar to the one that was made of the curse she had, she had not realized this until this new energy began to grow inside.

Little by little she began to hear voices in her head and began to think that she had finally gone crazy, it's not like she was upset or sad about it, she thought that at least that way she wouldn't get so sad when she looks around her and remember who is alone in this life.

Some years passed and 50 years had passed since he began to hear the voices, 2 years after that the voices began to be heard "good" apart from the thousands he heard a day from time to time and there he managed to know why he heard this and the because he had a different energy in his body.

If after hearing people say "Oh, goddess miranda give me a little of your grace and bring me a little luck in my life" and things like that but each and every one was that they wanted her to bring them luck, this somehow it made her sad as people didn't know what they were getting into.

A year later she managed to control a little the divine energy that knowing that she was a goddess, she managed to know what the energy was, she knew that there were gods and goddesses in this world, but she did not know how it was that they became such, but now she knows one way it's not like I'm going to tell someone.

In the following years she was practicing with her energy and progressing with her research on her curse, with the energy she achieved it mainly after starting to perform miracles on people even knowing that they would end up dying but at least now that she uses divine energy she can know that people don't die so fast after she gave him luck.

In those years the humans created churches for her as the miranda goddess of fortune.

She has been progressing a lot in her investigation of her curse, but now she knows that 1) the curse was placed by another god and 2) whoever placed the curse on her was very strong, those two were the main ones that could be seen .

But she didn't just learn about the curse from her because she also learned to do something that she didn't think would be possible for her... she had created life from scratch using her divine energy.

She had started from small incepts to small birds that she managed to make a connection with and now she was able to see the outside after so many years even if it was only through a bird.

When she turned 100 years old she had already gotten used to 1) being alone and 2) being a full-fledged goddess, even though she was 100 years old she was the same as when she was 25 years old and she was even more beautiful than before, this somehow it made her happy since, what a woman doesn't want to stay beautiful at least she cared a little about her appearance. (She's just trying not to fall into sadness trying to always be happy, which she doesn't work much but thanks to her little creations at least she's not as lonely as before)

In these years his powers over luck grew and now he could give luck and control how much luck the person will have, so this person will not die due to the repercussion of the luck that has given him, even of course, it all depends on how much luck he has given .

But about her curse, she realized a long time ago that no matter how much she investigates it, she couldn't get rid of it, although of course that doesn't mean that she will give up on it, it just made her a little sad.

And what happened in these years... well, that she had learned that a hero had been born to kill a divine beast that is losing control.

Saying that a little over 20 years ago something very, very bad happened for the world, a mysterious portal opened in a country, from that door many monsters came out and started chaos on the planet, where they passed they left a red miasma crimson that caused the life in the area to start mutating turning into those beasts that came out of the portal.

This lasted half a day until one of the guardians of the world arrived from the north, a large and powerful wolf with white and blue fur, along with a cold aura that caused where it would step on it would freeze, it had reached the country where it had opened the portal.

The great wolf had started a fight against the monsters that came out of the portal, but after 30 minutes and thousands of dead monsters he began to believe that if he continued with this fight he would not go anywhere besides his death and that of the possible planet because almost the whole place was filled with that crimson energy and to add more tension to things the strongest monsters that were possibly on the same level as him, were on their way to kill him.

Then with a decision made a great amount of magical and divine energy began to flow out of his body and envelop him along with his cold aura that froze around him.

Turning into a slightly larger version of himself, thanks to the energy that enveloped him now much stronger than before, he began to prepare his next quick move before the strong beasts arrived or he lost his form.

1 minute later, a large amount of ice shot out in all directions freezing everything in its path, from the weakest monsters to the strongest beasts everything had frozen, the entire country had frozen.

The great wolf lost his form greenish blue tired fell to the ground due to lack of energy but happy to have killed the portal beasts or at least he was, until he heard that some ice block where the strongest beasts were starting to break.

The big wolf tried to stand up but he was very tired after using his strongest state and freezing the entire country to try to kill the monsters and beasts, miranda seeing this tried to do something and the only thing she could do was give him a little luck. big wolf so that he could get out of this and said as done after luck several figures began to appear around the big wolf. the gods, goddesses, divine beasts, strong humans all who could fight had come to kill the beasts that tried to destroy the planet.

(I won't say it in the story, but all the strong humans were far from the place and the beings with divinity couldn't get there because of a barrier that had prevented them from leaving their houses/pantheons)

Then the war against the monsters and beasts began, a war that lasted days to completely kill the monsters and beasts, the portal closed after they killed the most powerful beast that was.

Then those who could began to purify the people who participated in the war and the area since the miasma that was corrupting the life that touched it even though some resisted better than others.

So Miranda was happy that the wolf had come out of that certain death alive, even though she hoped that at least the wolf wouldn't die so soon.

Thing that did not last long because the wolf a year later began to act strange before he was mostly calm now he was more aggressive and killed anyone who was nearby.

Thing that the will of the world was not very happy after seeing that one of his guardian beasts began to corrupt and had to seal it and look for someone who unfortunately killed him.

And so 5 years after the wolf started acting strange (1 year after he started acting strange, 4 years after he was sealed), a baby was born who was struck by lightning after birth.

That was the day the baby blessed by lightning was born... andrius barrak.

This story is not necessary at least this early in the story but well... I got the story and I wrote it and here we are uploading the story.

This chapter was for yesterday but I started to watch a video about Eden from honkai impact and well I got a little depressed knowing that she had died I don't play honkai impact so I didn't know that about her... I don't like the creators of the she creating such a good character and then killing him mercilessly 😢😭 she's depressed it wasn't good.
