Prologue 5. Skills and Spells.

"Dark Regeneration."

Magic spells were different than martial arts skills, mainly because every magic skill was connected to an attribute that the caster possessed. Light and Dark were the most common attributes, whereas Wind, Water, and Fire were attributes that had 1 in 10 thousand chances of showing up. Every attribute had their class spells, for example, Healer spells, close combat spells, Enhancements spells, Ranged spells, and Destruction spells.

Fortunately, Laine, as a grand orc, was able to utilize all of the spells above.

The pain started to fade away. After some time Drake recovered completely. He had been utterly defeated, and there was no way he was challenging this man ever again.

"Can I start training now? I won, so I won't be paying any money to you. You mentioned that more trial participants are going to come to this dojo, and when they do come here, let's have some duels. Please notify me then, as now, it's time to train."

"If you need anything, call my name. I will be upstairs." Drake said.

After Drake left, Laine started practicing a Level 3 spell, Aura Clone.

To execute this skill, he had to condense his aura at a particular pint, and then use his imagination to form a replica of himself. It was not a perfect clone, as it was just a dark aura in a human shape. But it was good to test out skills on. If he wanted, he could sacrifice all the attack power of the clone and focus the aura on the defense of the clone. At 100% defense, his defense was as strong as Laine himself.

'Calm mind, regulated breathing, and imagination.'

"Clone, your master commands you to exist!" He shouted the incantation spell.

After the clone was formed, he started with The 5th level skill, 1000 current slash.

This was a martial art skill which was supposed to strike a specific area targeted by the person a total of 1000 times, but only if the user had the stamina to do so, and the strike wasn't blocked for the first time. It was a high-leveled skill, and death was certain for an opponent at the same level as him and was sufficient to heavily injure an opponent that was stronger than him without physical enhancement. The two drawbacks were alarming for normal people, but as a grand orc, he had almost infinite reserves of stamina, and he was fast enough to hit most people before they could block.

This was the highest leveled skill that he currently had, and it was the most deadly martial art skill he possessed.

The aura clone received the attack on his neck, and before he could block it, a thousand slashes cut down his head, beheading him. He turned into smoke after that.

'Unfortunately, I can't use this technique in the duel. Killing is prohibited, and a level 5 skill is too much for a human.

He summoned another clone, and this time used The level 3 skill, twin finger's revenge.

This skill was better than the previous skill in one aspect. It wasn't guardable.

The skill hit only once, but the attack power was immense. Not as immense as 1000 current slash, but was enough to provide enough pain to force a person into unconsciousness. This was a good skill.

After that, he continued practicing more skills. His training continued through the night, and in 12 hours, he had learned 3 more skills with perfect power control.

Labyrinth dance, a body enhancement technique which increases speed. Level 2

Force execution, a hand attack that forces the opponent to move farther away, causing the distance between them to increase. Level 2

Chop of a knife, a hand attack that if connected can immobilize the enemy immediately; however, the accuracy is low due to slow speed. Level 3

He was a bit closer to his goal today.
