Well Behaved? Obedient? Me?

Su Qing only looked at the man with her big eyes, completely silent.

"What are you staring at? Can't speak?" he raised his voice a little.

Su Qing quitely nodded her head in agreement.

The man was quite surprised to see that he really wasn't able to talk.

He inspected the little guy as he said slowly, "Looks like you don't have anywhere to go. How about you live in my shop and take care of it?"

"You can live and eat, I'll also provide you with daily necessities. What do you think, lad?" he asked her casually as he stroked his hand on his long, white beard.

Su Qing looked up at the old man quietly. She actually didn't expect to meet such a good person here. 

But then again, she was badly in need of a shelter for her recovery. So she bowed towards the old man in gratitude as she cupped her hands together to show him her gratefulness.

"Haha! It's alright, lad. You can count on this old man. Come in with me and take a bath to change your clothes. We can talk after that," he laughed at her attitude.

"Just call me old Gu. And since you can't talk, then I shall call you Wu Sheng. How about it?" the old man spoke continuously.

But Su Qing only heard his words silently. 

'Did he really take me as a guy?'

She looked down at her body. 

It seems that her body was still underdeveloped. So it caused the misunderstanding.

Oh, well. It doesn't matter as long as the old man is happy.

She nodded her head to agree with his every word as she went inside the shop following him from behind.

'Wu Sheng, huh! This old man is not bad at things like this,' she smiled while looking at the old man from behind.

And that's how Su Qing's life as Wu Sheng started from that day.

Two months later,

"A'Sheng, there is a customer! Go look at what he needs!" old Gu yelled at Su Qing while sitting on the bench inside.

He can easily get the outside view while sitting here, so he saw the two men that were standing outside. 

"Coming!" Su Qing ran out to see who it was.

In these two months, she has been working for the old man since the day she came here.

And her complexion was better than before. Still, she needed to cover her face with a veil whenever she went outside to work or to serve the customers.

Her body was still recovering, so she didn't work with too much pressure as she turned the whole shop upside down.

Now the shop was even more prosperous after she started to work here. The old man didn't work much, only observing her work and willing to help her occasionally.

He even let her read valuable medicine books and practice them when he learned that Su Qing was a literate girl.

But he told her, being literate, to keep it a secret, Su Qing also abided by his words without any question.

And after learning that she was a girl, although he casually treated her. When it came to outsiders, in an instant, he became an overprotective grandfather.

Su Qing laughed while she saw him act like this, but she also felt grateful and very secured when he acted like this.

Was it how it feels like when you are being protected by the people you love and care for?

Su Qing felt warm in her heart, but of course she didn't let him know it.

Everytime he did it, she would snicker at him and walk away, leaving the old man to continue with his yelling.

She didn't like only one thing about this old man, that was his drinking wine till he got drunk.

And he wouldn't drink any type of wine, he would drink the most famous brand of wine every night. And he will send her to get it for him.

She told him not to drink countless times already, but this stinky old man wasn't listening to her and continued to drink.

In the end, Su Qing gave up on telling him to stop, and will do what he said. 

Because everytime she told him about his drinking habit, this old man would take out a dozen medicine books and tell her to go practice with them.

He also gave her the cultivation books to read for free to stop her mouth as a bribe.

So she will give up and go to practice all this. 

Su Qing had a good memory, so she already memorized all these books. It will come in handy someday.

Now she is pretty skilled in this sector as well, more than before.

Su Qing also guessed why he bragged about the person in front of her, but she only responded like dead meat.

Even today, he was complaining about how grumpy his grandson is always.

"I wish I had such an obedient and well behaved grandson like you. That brat is just too much!"

"No matter what I do, he will never get the humorous jokes I tell him. So boring!" 

He was nagging at Su Qing while telling on his grandson.

'Well behaved? Obedient? Me?'

She didn't respond, only gave a hearty smile at him.

And now, there were customers standing in front of the shop. So Su Qing went out to greet them.

As she went out, she saw two guys standing outside. A man and the other one seemed to be his subordinate.
