The Gods Of Alkebulan

Long ago, the land of Alkebulan was ruled by the mighty Gods. Mortals lived at the mercy of these divine beings, who decided their fate and wielded the power of the elements. When angered, the Gods would shake the heavens and earth with their mighty power, leaving mortals trembling in fear. But then came the discovery of the Supreme Power of Jok - a force that allowed mortals to harness the power of the Gods and connect with their own Ori, or inner spirit. With this newfound power, humans began to thrive and rise to levels of strength and ability that rivaled even the Gods themselves. They took control of their own fate, harnessing the spark of destiny embedded within their very essence. But such power was not for everyone. Only the truly talented and skilled could go against the natural order of the heavens and claim their own fate. It was a rare gift, but for those who possessed it, the possibilities were endless. **Disclaimer:** The concepts, names, and themes presented in this book, are entirely fictional and created for entertainment purposes. Prologue

The land of Alkebulan was a sight to behold, with lush forests, cities, regions and breathtaking plains that stretched for miles. It was said that twelve powerful Gods ruled over their respective realms, their divine presence felt throughout the land.

To watch over the mortals, the Gods appointed priestesses, who acted as their emissaries on earth. These priestesses were revered and respected, and it was believed that they possessed great wisdom and power.

But for mortals who sought to rise above their station and claim a higher destiny, the journey was not an easy one. Only those who possessed exceptional skill and talent could ascend and shed their mortal coils, reaching new heights of power and ability. It was a rare feat, and one that the Gods did not allow to be achieved easily. But for those who were worthy, the rewards were beyond measure.

As Antaeus Mustafa took his first breath, a sudden upheaval shook the heavens and earth. The air crackled with electricity and the stars blinked in confusion. Even the Gods were jolted from their slumber, their thrones rattling as they roared awake.

In a blinding flash, the sky transformed into a dazzling display of divine power. The 12 Gods appeared, each seated on their magnificent throne, emanating an aura of awe-inspiring authority.

Mortals trembled on their knees while practitioners bowed their heads in reverence and fear, for they knew something momentous was happening.

And then, a thunderous voice boomed across the land, shaking mountains and shattering the earth.

"This child is ordained to oppose the heavens, and God's decree is for him to die!" The 12 voices spoke as one, their words echoing through every corner of Alkebulan.

But even as the world trembled under the weight of the Gods' decree, the newborn Antaeus Mustafa opened his eyes. He gazed up at the divine figures with an expression of curious wonder, defying the expectations of mortals and Gods alike.

And as his Mother and Father stood by his side, they did not cower in fear or bow in submission but instead met the gaze of the 12 Gods with unflinching defiance.

The blinding light gradually faded away, and the Gods returned with their thrones in the sky. The impact of their words lingered, setting in motion a chain of events that would change the course of Alkebulan's History.

[Present Day]

The night was alive with the sounds of crickets chirping and the gentle rustle of leaves in the warm breeze. Inside a grand palace, a luxurious room held a breathtaking woman with golden-brown skin and piercing purple eyes, cradling her sleeping baby boy. His curly hair and rich brown skin reminded her of the vast lands of Alkebulan.

"You're handsome just like your father, Antaeus. One day you'll grow up to be just as powerful as him, or maybe even surpass him and change your destiny," she whispered with a mixture of love and worry.

As she spoke, the door creaked open, and a tall man stepped into the room. He wore a patterned royal robe and exuded an aura of authority, befitting an emperor.

"My Amirah, you're still awake," he said in a deep but gentle voice, addressing his wife.

She looked up at him, her eyes filled with love and care. "Yes, my love. Our son has just fallen asleep after I fed him."

Her husband walked to her bedside, sitting down beside her as he gazed at their sleeping child.

His eyes gleamed with fatherly love. "You have given me a beautiful son, my Amirah," he said, lovingly caressing her face.

Amirah blushed, happy and grateful for her husband's compliment and show of affection. As he lay down next to her, he took her hand in his, and they both held each other while their child slept peacefully between them.

With a determined look, he reassured her, "Do not worry, my love. I will protect you and our son from those who dare try to take you away from me."

"I know, my love, and I will protect our son and you too, my husband," she replied, her eyes brimming with resolve.

On this night, two parents made a vow to protect their child, unaware of the dangers lurking outside their palace.

In the starry sky and on the lands of Alkebulan, a grave threat threatened to destroy everything they hold dear.

The decree had already marked the hearts of the people who lived in this world of Gods and Jorin*.

Antaeus Mustafa had been born to oppose the heavens, and as such, he was condemned to die. However, the Gods couldn't directly kill him. It was up to the disciples and pious servants who worshiped their Divine Totems in their temples to execute the decree.

Only two Hegemons of the Mustafa Royalty, who had attained the sixth layer of the Earth Astral Realm, stood in their way. They were some of the most powerful beings in the Eastern Region, and Antaeus's grandfather was even rumored to have reached the Heaven Astral Realm.

With two such powerful parents, Antaeus grew up peacefully, consuming the rarest herbs and Spiritual Beast meat to aid his growth. However, heaven had different plans for him. Would he crumble under the weight of his fate, or would he rise to become a supreme being, crushing all those who dared to defy him? The answer remained shrouded in mystery, waiting to unfold with time.
