Clain released her from the hug, looking into her eyes he brought himself down to give her a kiss on the cheek. "I spent my day raging out at random things because I missed you." Kavira felt the weak and sad emotion transmitting from Clains body, she couldn't help but feel guilty. While she was going on around the city enjoying her time she forgot to even think about Clain.
Her heart twitched a little but she wasn't sure about what to say. "I don't want you to leave me again without being by your side. I have to protect you." Kavira felt her heart drop, he was building walls because he was afraid of her rejection but he had the right to do so. She wasn't in a position to be with anyone, she wasn't even sure how she felt about anyone in that way.
She respected this man and if he was requesting something reasonable she didn't see why she wouldn't agree. "I'm sorry Clain. I won't forget to have you with me next time, okay?"
Clain nodded and after some moments of silence they decided to go inside get some sleep.

The following day Clain decided to wake up and leave for the training grounds early. Kavira took her dao broadswords for the first time, she was done training with the wooden stick. She needed to know the power of these swords and how to maintain the balance of both at a single time. She traveled with the bronze box until she reached the Fei house, Linx jumped to Kavira's side to help her carry the box but it seemed so much heavier for him than for her.
"Why does this weigh so much?" Linx's struggling expression made Kavira smile, she reached over to grab the box from him but he moved away. "I can carry it, I just want to know why it weighs so much."
"It has to do with how well you are in tuned with your magic. To me, these weapons recognize me as it's owner, therefore they are as light as features for me. Clain, when he carried them they weren't light but definitely not as heavy. You, you are struggli-. "
"Wait a minute... Clain? Clain has power? Like the one I showed you?" Kavira stopped in her tracks. She realized she spoke before thinking this time, she hasn't really learned how to lie and be deceptive so she wasn't sure what to say.
"Clain.. Does have powers.. Like you do but not the same kind of magic." Kavira didn't want to make the situation worse so she decided to trust Linx, he wasn't a bad person after all and truly seemed to care for her. "He is a fire-."
Clain appeared out of nowhere pushing Linx away from her. "Were you really about to tell him what I asked you to keep between us? You've gone on one date with this guy and already you're dying to tell him everything that shouldn't be said."
Kavira felt pain where her heart should be. She was only saying what needed to be said, they both had magic and she needed them to know it. Keeping secrets like this would have only made the situation worse. "Clain it isn't like that. He-. "
Kavira was reaching for Clain but he snatch his arm away. "I trusted you because you gave me my life back, I worked hard because I wanted to protect you through everything. So why him.." Clains frustration was boiling inside him, he couldn't stand to look at her hurt face, maybe he did go too far but he couldn't help but feel rage.
Without saying another word he quickly left into the city streets. "Clain please, wait!" Kavira cried out for Clain multiple times but he never turned back, the further he walked the harder it was to see him. She tried to run after him with tears flowing down her eyes but Linx grabbed her and told her to relax, Clain needed time and space to release himself of his own anger.
"What do I know.. If he would've just listened he wouldn't be in this mess. He thinks I betrayed him but I was just trying to bring us closer to brainstorm on some things I can't even explain myself." She had eventually grown exhausted of crying and let herself be held onto by Linx.
It was sometime in the afternoon when she returned home, the General was in his study and Ms. Folly in the kitchen. She announced her arrival and went up to Clain's room, no Clain, his weapons were gone along with most of his gear. She ran back down stairs to find the General behind his desk. "Where's Clain?"
The general was calmly looking at some documents when Kavira rushed in. "He didn't tell you? Nyla has gone missing. He took the mission to go find her. All we have is the location of where she was a month ago."
"I don't understand. Why didn't anyone tell Linx?" The General furrowed his eyebrows, it was a bit suspicious that Master Fei would specifically ask for Clain to do the mission but the General never really questioned the Master.
"I'm sure he had his reasons Kavira. Clain is accustomed to combat and so is Nyla, I'm sure they'll be back in no time." With those words the General asked her to close the door on her way out, he had received a high class report on the sighting of the dead army so he wanted some privacy.
Kavira didn't bother the General any further. She took her leave with her dao broadswords once again headed back to the Fei house. There was no excuses, time for her to become a master.
