Zach arrived at his home. "My legs does not stop shaking." He thought. "It's gonna be fine. After all, they're my parents."
He walked towards the front door and opened it.
"Welcome home Zach! How did it go? Did you got a high one?" Said his mom as she ran towards him.
"Of course he is." Said his father. "After all, he's from the Wycheng family."
"About that... here." Zach handed his certificate to his mom. His mind filled with worries and fear. "Don't worry." He thought. "There's no way they would hate me. They're my parents after all."
"Dear, please take a look at this." Said his mother. Cheng took it and read it. After he read it he looked straight at Zach.
He walked towards him. He lifted his left hand up above the air.
He clenched his fist and punched Zach in the face.
"How could you get this, huh!? " Said his father in a very loud voice and red face.
Zach fell on his but on the wooden floor of his house. His father stomped at his body. "Why did you become so useless, huh?! Don't you know how much we hope to rely on you? we're short on money right now! It's all your fault for being born!"
"Hit him harder, dear." Said the mother. "Teach that ungrateful child a lesson. Why we have him as our child anyway? Wait, he was an adopted one. Maybe that's why you're so useless huh?"
Zach overheard what she said. "Adopted? I'm not your real child?"
"Of course we don't have an ugly son like you!" Said his Ana Wycheng. "We adopted you when you were a baby at the time. We found you under a fallen roof when the demon king first appeared and destroyed the town. You should be lucky we decided to pick you up!"
Zach kept taking all the stomping made by his father. He knew that he dissapointed both of their parents. But his heart was crushed when his parents don't supported his failure.
"Well, that's enough for you!" Cheng stooped stomping. "Get out! The day was almost gone and we don't want too see your face anymore! Don't ever come back!"
He threw Zach out of the house and closed the door. The day was gone and the night came.
"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Why my fate was so horrible? I got humiliated, and got thrown away from my own house! Why god made me this way? Have I done anything wrong? God, tell me!" He shouted.
"Of course there's no answer. I got to think about the future now." He thought. "Where I'm gonna sleep today?"
Suddenly, he saw the barn outside his house.
"Well, it's better than nothing I guess."
He walked into the barn. it was reeked with the smell of horseshit and the chicken manure. It smell really bad. Zach lied on the dried grass and tried to sleep.
"It's cold." He thought. "It's cold, smell bad and disgusting place. At least I got a place to sleep peacefully."
Suddenly, the rain started to pour down. The raindrops from the leaked roof made a really loud sound and some of it hit Zach.
"Don't worry... Don't worry... I'm lucky to have this place... "
Without even he realising it, his tears dropped down his cheeks.
