Kara" I'm not flying around saving people in this thing. I...I wouldn't even wear it to the beach. Where's my cape?"

Winn " Capes are lame. Tell your cousin I said so. Actually, never, never do that."

Kara " Anyway I'm definitely not wearing this." kara says when suddenly a voice is heard from behind winn.

Kai" Sigh, looks like I got my hopes up."

kara" kai."

Winn" Who the... wait Wasn't you the one from yesterday. How did you get in here and why are you here." He says as he looks at kai with caution and kara for answers.

kara" he..I...we..."

kai" Nice to meet you schoht Winn, kai Allen. I had nowhere to go as Miss cat didn't want me at her house so kara volunteered to take me in and show me around the city. Isn't that right kara."

kara" Yes that's exactly what happened."

Kai" But what I wanna know is why her cousin would kill you and why you're making a superhero suit for kara."

For this question it was kara and Winn turn to think of what to say.

Winn" well you see her cousin is a huge fan of superman so. He would kill me if kara told him I said that and the suit is karas cosplay, right kara."

Kara" I.. we"

Kai" oh, so you aren't trying to make kara a superhero suit so she can show her self to the world and be the next hero besides superman her cousin who would kill you if he heard capes are lame. Good to know."

For a good minute, there was absolute silence, as both Kara and Winn really didn't know what to say. she had thousands of thoughts running through her head but eventually one came out.

Kara " How did you know."

Kai" Clue one Yesterday night I was walking and exploring the nightlife of central city when I suddenly got hungry and checked my phone to the closest pizza place. I went through a shortcut or back alleyway where I see a girl that looked exactly the girl I met this morning jumping than flying through the air saving a plane, from crashing. At first, I thought my eyes must be tricking me, but when I saw the news and that blurred image of you I instantly knew it was you. That was clue number two"

Kara could only nod and accept it. while also berating herself for not looking at her surroundings carefully.

Winn " Wait how did you recognise her, the image was blurred plus her hair is mostly black, not blond."

Kai" And this would be clue number 3."

For that Question kai just took his backpack off and zipped it open while taking out a white jacket that Kara recognised very well.

Kara "My jacket I threw away before flying to save the plane."

Kai" Your statement just proved my final clue. Tho I couldn't see the face I recognised the clothes. Here I washed it for you." kara accepts the jacket and says.

kara" Thank you. Winn, it's pretty late I'm gonna go to bed we will continue this tomorrow"

Winn looks at kara then at kai before saying goodbye and leaving. After leaving there was only kara who looked nervous and kai who had no expression.

kara" I wanted to tell you who I was and what I was. I figured if we...we really did end up being together that there should be no secrets. I was really nervous and scared I thought, what if he feels scared that I'm an alien, what if he runs away, would he look at me like I was a monster, or like my cousin a hero, would he laugh at my dream, would he...would you...would you." at this point there were already tears swelling up at the corner of her eyes.

kai just looked at the beautiful really strong yet fragile girl in front of him and just smiles. Walking up to her, he got behind her and picked her up.

Kara" He...would you...would you ehh.. kai put me down, let go of me."

kai" don't want to, and I'm not going to." Still holding kara like some big plushie won at a carnival he sits on the couch while kara flails in between his legs. He says nothing and just holds kara as tightly as he could. And overtime kara finally stopped struggling and just melted in his hug eventually falling asleep.

Kai notices she's just pretending but doesn't say anything and just picks her up in a princess carry and lays her on her bed. Tucking in kara who's still pretending he just smiled before sitting by her side while caressing her soft and adorable cheeks. Looking at kara he kisses her forehead and starts whispering.

Kai" Monster, you're far from it. Runaway from you, if anything I want to know more about you. Whether it is your heart body or soul. I want to know your good points. But also your bad points, so I can fall in love with those too.

Your not the only one with secrets but in dew time we will know everything about each other. So please don't worry. And whatever dream you may hold in that beautiful little head of yours I'll support in any way I can. You may not know this now but in due time you will know I can help you in more ways than you can imagine. And not just being there for you as a friend/lover. well, what I'm trying to say is I'll be here, and staying for a long time." Getting closer he gives kara one last kiss but this time on the lips.

Kai" Good night and sweet dreams kara."

Standing up he walks out the room but not before taking one last look at kara. Then leaving. After a few minutes of silence, kara opens her eyes and whispers to herself.

Kara" Thank you." After listening to his words she was able to finally calm her mind and heart. Smiling she really started to go to bed and had one of the best nights of sleep she's had in a while.

Next day

Winn "To be a superhero you need a crime. I hacked into the NCPD. There's a car chase on the 112 freeway.

Kara" I can do a car chase!" Kara says, in her new suit.

POLICE SIREN WAILING

Next day

Winn" A cape aids with aerodynamics, I should have thought of that."

Officer on radio: West National City Bank. Reporting a 432. Sixth and Spring. Suspects are armed and dangerous.

Winn" You, uh... You're sure you're bulletproof?"

Kara" Hope so."

Two days later

Winn"All right, the new cape is made from a structured polymer composite." He says as he holds the bullet shredded cape.

Winn" It's much sturdier than... And, uh... This one has the S. For Super, just like your cousin."

Kara" Not an S. It's my family's coat of arms. The House of El."

Kai" Either way you look beautiful."

An officer on radio" Four-alarm fire at Gates and Igle."

Kai" I'm assuming you can't catch on fire."

Kara just smiles and quickly flies off.

Kai' Sigh so it begins.'

kai" I have something to do so I'll be off."

Winn just nodes in acknowledgement while typing away at his computer.

Kai' looks like he still doesn't like me with Kara very much.'
