AYAN'S POV
I took in the cell before me with a look of worry on my face. It looked more or less similar to what I'd seen in my dreams. I walked further into the cell and sat down on the mattress which was a questionable colour. I had no choice but to get comfortable. I made myself lie down against the wall where I knew Serena was seated against the same wall on the other side. I never imagined I'd bump into her again and in prison of all places.
"So what did you do to get yourself in here?" Serena asked me from her cell.
My eyes tiredly looked up at the ceiling. "Someone framed me," I told her.
"Ha! I've heard that before." She commented in a tone that let me know she was rolling her eyes at my response. Frankly, I didn't care whether she believed me or not.
Serena continued; "In any case, I wish I could send that person flowers. After you ruined my life I'm glad you got your karma!"
