THE FIFTH ELEMENT 🌊🔥🌪️⛰️☯️
Chapter 9....⛰️
After the boys were dragged out of the cafeteria, everyone settled back down on their seats.
"Well that was intense." Madeline said.
And her friends agreed with her.
"Who were those boys just now?" I asked them.
"That was trouble. Two of them. Big trouble that you would want to stay far away from." one of the guys, I think David said.
"Oh don't be a hater. Those boys you just saw fighting are one of the hottest boys in school." Madeline said.
"Not just hot but also from the most powerful families in town. They're children of the elementals. Just like this dork over here who won't accept the fact that she's just as powerful." Stacy said and scrunched her eyes at Madeline.
"Whatever. You guys know me okay? I'm not as strong as they are in combat." Madeline defended herself.
"Yeah because you don't want to push yourself up. Just hiding behind your shadow." Stacy said back.
"Ok can we please get back to the topic here. Hot boys and all." Madeline said and faked smiled at Stacy.
"Yeah. Whatever. You girls are such a girl." Richie said.
"Yeah? It's not our fault we're not as scary and mean like your gothic little crush." Stacy said to Richie and he blushed for a second.
"Aw that's true. Hey Richie how's your crush doing, seen her around lately?" David teased him.
"Would you guys stop changing the topic. We were telling Cassie about hot boys right?" Richie said in defense.
"Right right sorry. So the dark haired boy is Damon and the whitish haired boy is Jacob, jake for short. They're not really into all the school stuff. It's obvious their parents forces them to be here. And hey, they might be dreamy but they're very dangerous. Also they both have sisters. And they're just terrible. You should stay away from those ones though. You don't want to be their enemy in this school." Stacy told me everything I wanted to know.
"You know there's even a rumor, that sage drowned someone just because of the way the person looked at her. She's cold as ice." David said.
"Who's sage?" I asked him.
"Damon's sister. You gotta keep up cassie." Stacy said to me.
"Oh Wow. That's terrible. What did the school do about it then?" I asked David.
"Thats where it gets sneaky. Nothing. They did absolutely nothing. They denied that being the cause of death. No one would question them Ofcourse so we all took what they gave us." David said to me.
"Hey could you please keep it down. I don't like it when we discuss about this. Infact no more sage talk. Let's just talk about something else." Madeline interfered.
"Would you rather we talk about Cara? Isn't she like your mortal enemy around here. Cara is Jake's sister by the way so fiery ." Stacy said to me and turned over to Madeline and started laughing at her. Soon David and the rest joined in.
"Thank you for pointing that out Stacy. And no we will not be talking about her. Why don't we talk about Cassie instead." Madeline suggested.
"Yeah. That's right. So Cassie, the fifth element...I was meaning to ask. What is it? " Stacy asked me.
I looked at her confusingly.
"The fifth element. What is it? We've always been curious at what it might be." Stacy asked me.
Suddenly all of them turned to me, their eyes stuck to me. It felt like they were pointing a gun at me.
"Um...I don't...." I was about to say something but was cut off by David.
"Is it electricity?! Please tell me it's electricity." David blurted out.
"Would you shut up!" they all said in unison.
"Sorry." David whispered.
"Shut up!!!" they attacked him again and the table we were on Shaked for some seconds. and he raised his hands in the air.
I think they moved the table with their powers or something.
"Now Cassie, continue with what you wanted to say" Stacy said to me.
"I don't know what it is. I don't know about any power or magic. I didn't even know people like you guys existed until a few days ago. Sorry." I say to them and shrugged.
"Wow. Really? You really didn't know anything about us or who you were until a few days ago?" Monique finally said something.
"Honestly I still don't know who I am. I'm just a normal girl in this strange new world where people do impossible things. I don't know if I can find my way around."i say to Monique and she gave me a pity smile.
"Its a good thing you have us now to help you find your way around." Monique said to me.
"Thank you. Really." I said to her and she nodded.
"Ugh. Gosh Monique you're really good at giving people depression you know that?. Why don't you let us do the talking. How about that." Stacy said to Monique.
"Whatever talkative Stacy. Don't you ever get tired of talking." Monique said to her.
"No. Ofcourse not. I'm the life of the party. Which means without me, you guys would bore yourselves to death. You all should be thankful I'm here." Stacy said while making a face.
"Okay. Enough talking for today. Cassie? It's time we head back to our dorm. You have to get some rest for tomorrow." Madeline said to me.
"Yeah okay. What about your Mom? I still need to talk to her." I said to Madeline.
"I know. But that would be tomorrow after classes.. I'm sure she'd tell you everything you want to know by then. But for now we should get back to the dorm." Madeline said to me.
"Okay. Fine." I said and stood up from the chair.
"Aw I'm going to miss you." Stacy said to me.
"Don't be dramatic Stacy. You've only known her for like an hour or two. Besides you'll be seeing her first thing tomorrow won't you" Madeline said to Stacy.
"Jealous much." Stacy said to Madeline.
"Huh. You need therapy girl. Let's go Cassie. See you all later clowns. Except for Monique. I love you." Madeline said to them all before heading for the exit door.
I waved them all a little goodbye and then ran to meet up with Madeline. She was a fast Walker.
