She Has The Gut As The King

"Wow..you have secret base in here.." Grey smiles widely when he entered the lab. His finger trailing on the edge of the table following Kyra from behind.

"You have free time, do you?" Kyra said without looking at him.

"Yes..you're right. How about if we continue where we left last time. Your face looks grim because I didn't finish what we should do back then.." He teases her. But, at the same time, he keeps making the man behind him also alert with his word.

"Shut up!" Kyra growl and find a few baskets which she used before and shove it to Grey.

"Since you have a loootttt of free time..why don't you help me to pluck this herb?" She gives him the herb list.

"Sure dear. What's in return?" He smiles cunningly at her.

Kyra glare at him. "You working with the King aren't you? You supposed to saving lives, am I right?"

Grey nod his head. "Mhm."

"Then, this is also part of the mission for saving lives. So, basically, this is your job. Do it right now. I need it, and I will think about how I supposed to reward you later." Kyra tries to bait him.

Well, she doesn't plan on giving what he wants. She just tricks him to do this job so she can do her job peacefully without him being so clingy to her.

Hearing the word 'reward' from her mouth make his eyes glowing with hope. He also doesn't know why he acts like this. It seems like he fell head over heels for this woman. The feeling to have her, make him act unreasonable and want to protect her from any other man.

Oh, another man. He turns to look at Asahi who still at the side of the room. Looking at both of them.

"What about him?" He asks.

"What about him, what?" Kyra asking him back. She already starts to do her job.

"Well, why is he here? Why don't you ask him to pluck the herb too?" He feels unfair.

"He needs to help me in the lab."

"I can help too."

"You know how to make medicine?" Kyra lifts her eyebrow at him.

Grey shakes his head. "No..but I can make you feel better with me beside you."

'Urgh!!!!!' Kyra growl inwardly. She then inhales and exhales for a moment before she replies to him.

"So, you don't want a reward that I offered you? Okay, gladly I will switch it to him. He'll get the reward." Kyra tries to smile at him and then she turns to look at Asahi.

Asahi roll his eyes. Annoyed with her flirting drama.

"Asahi, dear..do you want a reward?" Kyra asks nicely with a sweet voice.

"No! Wait!" Grey stop before Asahi could reply to her. "I'll go. And you.."

He turns to look at the man behind him. "Don't touch her or talk with her. I'll cut you in the half if I know you did that." He warns him and took the basket before he went out of the room.

Just after Grey went out of the room, Kyra let out a laugh. "What a hassle man." She muttered slowly and return to do her job.

"What's wrong with him? Is he your lover?" Asahi ask and went to find a few ampules from the wooden cabinet, hanging on the wall.

"Haah…no. He's not my lover. And by the way, aren't you afraid talking to me? He will cut you in a half you know?"

"Like I'll afraid of that threat. Do you think he can easily kill me? Not a chance, missy." He scoffs and gives her the empty ampule.

"Hmm..don't say I didn't warn you." She utters slowly and takes the ampule from his hand.

Yuina returns back in an hour later.

"Kyra.."

"Yuina..did you get the flower?" She asks with gleaming eyes.

Yuina shakes her head. Her face looks sad and she slowly stretches out her hand to Kyra.

"This is the last flower. We..we can't find it anywhere." Her tears start flowing down.

Kyra looks at Yuina's trembling hand which holding the flower. She also feels sad and it feels like her hope is gone.

"It's okay, Yuina..I'll make it right away." She sniffles and took the flower from her hand before she went back to the lab.

"Jett, could you call Asahi? He's at the physician court. He giving the ampule to those patients now." Kyra smile at him. She can't cry right now. Hearing Yuina's crying already make her heart squeezed.

"Right away, Lady Kyra.." Jett went out of the room.

Not long after, Asahi went back inside the lab with Jett behind him.

"Where's the flower?" He asks with excitedly.

"No..we only have this one flower," Kyra said explaining the situation to him.

He then circling around the room. "Just use this amount first. We'll cure your friend first."

"But.."

"It's okay. These people did not consume as much as your friend. They can wait for a few more days." Asahi try to assure Kyra.

"What about other patients? In a few days, how many of them will have to die? This plant took three years to fully matured. How do you plan to make a cure? Wait for another three years? Moreover, this plant only grows in this province and not in the other province." Kyra voice out her worries.

Asahi sighing.

Grey who listen silently at the outside of the room from the moment Asahi entered the room suddenly went inside the room, joining them in discussing this matter.

"Is it White Moon Lily?" He asks making all of them turn around to him.

"Gr…Grey?" Yuina a bit shocked to see him here.

"Hey...Where's that dimwit?" He pats on Yuina's head.

"He..he.." She stammering a bit.

"He's been drugged," Kyra answered it on Yuina place. She knows Yuina can't answer him in this state.

"By the way, do you know about White Moon Lily?" Kyra tilts her head a little.

"Yeah..I've heard of it. There's a field where they planting this plant. But the area is a bit dangerous."

"Where?" Jett asks.

"It's in.." He stops his sentence for a bit before he continues again. "Heliodor Kingdom."

The room turns silent like a graveyard for a few seconds.

"Is it far from here?" Yuina asks.

Every one of them looks at her.

"Yuina…you can't be.."

"I'll go if it can save these people from death. They start this first. So, me stealing the cure from that kingdom is nothing compared to what they've done to this kingdom."

"Yuina-"

"It's not that far. The area is guarded by foxes spirit. The Heliodor Kingdom as well as you know, it is inhabited by monster, spirit, and demon. So, are you sure you wanna go there?" Grey asks her. He likes the spirit she has. She has the gut as the King.

"I'm in," Yuina said firmly.
