The Extra System: Summoner of Shadows

"Teacher, why does the Church call summoners evil?" The priest’s voice was grim. "Because they defy the gods. They summon horrors that devour worlds. It is not just power—it is corruption given form." A student hesitated. "But could one not use that power for—" “Silence!” The priest’s eyes burned with fervor. “There is no redemption for a summoner. And now, they speak of the worst of them all—a Summoner of Shadows. A heretic who will plunge the world into eternal darkness. He is the epitome of evil, and when he rises, he will destroy us all.” ————————————————- [New Extra Character Registered… Cedric Everhart.] [The Extra System has initiated.] Awakening as Cedric Everhart, ninth prince and prisoner, he carries a curse: the most reviled class in existence—[Summoner of Shadows]. Evolution

The Temple of Shadows stood strong, a testament to a once-worshiped god. Cedric and Ember walked through its gates again and recovered using the healing water before the first chamber. The long fight against the shadows was over.

"How come the dungeon hasn't collapsed yet?" asked Ember while following him through the temple's doors. "We killed the summoner, so nothing should sustain it."

"It seems that Kain has managed to add this temple to his dungeon, making it a sub-dimension of Umbra," explained Cedric without reserve. Since Ember chose to trust him despite his class, he would trust her with these things.

"Umbra? As in the World Between?" Ember asked, confused. Cedric looked at her with a raised brow.

"What is that? Have you heard of it?"

"Everyone in Elaris knows about the World Between. It's a fairytale that parents use to scare disobedient children. You should know it too."
