When the concubine Lan finally walked away, only then did she straighten her back, but instead of turning her gaze toward the garden, she looked at Jing Xin, who had been standing behind her silently from the beginning.

"Did you notice anything?"

"Lady Lan said, Master should return to the manor with the Prince." Jing Xin replied softly.

"There's a lot of gossip in the palace."

"What about the Prince and the Princess?" Jing Xin's gaze turned towards the garden at the two people who seemed almost intimate, then back at Qu Tan'er, waiting for her reaction.
