The system announced, Valmus could almost feel it's excitement. He logged out of his head gear and let his mind return to reality.
It had been a long and hectic month since the launch of Vestia, a lot had happened and if he were being honest he enjoyed the month.
He left his eyes closed as he adjusted his body, he had been lying down for quite some time now. At least half a day has passed since he last logged in.
He couldn't help but think back to all of his experiences outside the game after all there was equally a lot to do in reality as well.

Twenty Nine Days Ago.
After his first login into the game, formation of his character and entry into the bubble Sam logged out about the time when he, the chimera and Ursala met.
He had previously had a long day and took a much needed rest. He wouldn't log in until the third day since he needed to sort out his immediate financial issues.
Sam woke up the next day assaulted by the morning sun light, his mind exhausted from the events of the previous day.
"I've already sorted through the relevant bits of Carl's memories for the best way to accumulate money." He sighed heavily as he honored his fallen friend. "Your pains and losses shall not be in vain."
His savings were around four thousand five hundred earned from his part time job at the convinience store he worked for.
"From Carl's memories the lottery this week should have a jackpot of two million, seven hundred and ninety thousand dollars. Thank God he had the weird hobby of always writing down the winning lottery numbers as a means to crack the code."
He laughed at his friends habits before stepping outside, his mother and siblings had already left home leaving him by himself.
He left home after a quick meal and went to a few nearby convenience store searching for the winning number.
After two hours of searching and a waste of nearly one thousand, give hundred dollars he found his winning lottery. He then walked away while setting up his betting account something he had never done before.
'My current funds are too lacking to earn anything of adequate value even from betting.' He internalized as he finished applying for a thirty thousand loan.
Sam then left the bank and walked into the shady parts of the city to a loan shark he had never met but knew him like the back of his hand.
"One of the fuckers that exploited Carl's naivety, I'll be sure to pay you back hundredfold," he smiled coldly as he entered a closed brothel.
"State your business you dicker?!" A well built man shouted his hand resting on the gun at his waist. Sam gave the gun a passing glance when he saw it.
'I've already reached the seventh level of Celestial Body... so my speed and reaction time should be much higher than this Buffon after all I've far surpassed the threshold of a humans standards in this world.' He mused but chose not to act offensively
"I'm here to see Khan," he replied earning and interrogatory look from the man he assumed to be a guard
"Debt or loan?!" The man asked again earning an instant reply
"Loan."
"You should have said so from the start little brother." Th guard snorted then led Sam up the stairs through a hall that reeked of bodily fluids, drugs and gun powde.
He was then led towards a room to which the guard knocked in a cryptic pattern that would be hard to pick up or replicate, the door then clicked to which the guard led Sam in.
In front of Sam was a middle aged man his hair nearly bolding his eyes large and droopy his nose bulbous and his lips overly large with a cigar trapped in between.
"I heard you have business for me lad, out with it then?!" he begun as he puffed in a smoke, "I need a loan around five hundred thousand or so failure to pay will be one of my kidneys, I've never smoked or drunk and I'm clear of drugs."
Sam reported earning shocked looks from both Khan and the guard.
'This kid he's too balsy.'
Khan laughed internally amused by Sam's demeanor.
"Kid why'd you think your kidneys will be worth half a mil please even two fifty is me being generous." Khan snickered as he released a puff.
"Is that so... ohh well then I'll just go to Kong's bet she'll give me a boost knowing you turned me down."
He stated as he took a step back only to find a gun on his head, he turned around and saw the guard pointing at him with an enraged look, but before he could pull the trigger faster than his eye could perceive he was disarmed and pushed forward by Sam who now held the gun in his hand.
"Is that it?!" He asked with a scrutinizing gaze
'I couldn't follow his movements, a martial prodigy.... he must be trying to clear a debt with his old dojo then.' Khan summarized briefly before controlling the situation before it escalated.
"Alright kid I see you have the brawn to back your balls, but I still can't give ya half a mil' it's too much most I can dish out is two..."
"Six hundred." Sam interrupted
"You've got to...."
"Six hundred and fifty, I'm nearing the inhuman level we both know what it means." He revealed earning shocked looks from Khan and the guard
"No wonder I couldn't follow his movements.' Khan concluded but still refused to give in.
"Even so... "
"Seven hundred thousand, It'll keep climbing Khan keep on with your miser ethics and I'm walking. Eight hundred thousand."
"Tsk.... fine eight hundred thousand it is but you'll owe me hitch my call," he bargained.
"Fine but make it eight hundred and fifty for the inconveniences." Sam pressed on earning a glare as he tossed back the gun in his hand.
"Your too greedy mate," Khan laughed "but I like it greedy folks are easier to handle." He said while waving at the guard who sprang to his feet hurriedly going to fetch the money.
" Ohh and let me warn you Khan if you try to sniff me out we'll be on bad terms," Sam threatened while releasing a bit of his aura forcing Khan to break into a cold sweat.
'He wasn't fucking with me he's really close to the inhuman level.' Khan shuddered as he looked at the red pupilled golden eyed man.
"Yes I understand." He replied shortly but still added "Interest is in 5% per week and 10% per month, leave your phone number so I'll tell you when the gig is upm" Khan stated before puffing another smoke.
"Deal... but if I find any one of your shadows tailng me..." Sam smiled devilishly as bits of his aura spiked erratically.
"...I'll kill them and deliver their heads, I hope we're clear on this Rajesh Rudra Khan?! 'he asked the pale Khan who was shocked.
'He knows me, all too well.'
