The Being Once Again
He had a hood over his face as he got out of the taxi. Quickly settling the taxi bill, he began his short journey into the streets of Dambell.
The hood was chosen today because he didn't want anyone to have a look at how miserable he looked like. He was still shattered internally having gone through an emotional breakdown. And normally he had began hating leaving his apartment asides from heading out to his workplace, but because he had to see the only families he had left, he had to voluntarily step out of his apartment.
He couldn't imagine Lily's reaction when she sees him all sobered up and a bit malnourished. She would be devastated. And that was one of the reasons he had chosen not to visit her. He didn't want her worried about him but maybe that was what he really needed at the moment. The warmth of a woman sure did good most times.
