Goodbye

All the spikes were blocked by the heroes that had fallen in times past. Somehow, they were all there with Legend at that moment, running alongside him. And Legend suddenly started glowing from the inside out. The Singularity attempted to regenerate its fog tissue to cover up the core again, but as Legend got closer, the fog was dispelled. Legend could feel the power flowing through him like never before. He was finally close enough to strike.

Legend: ONE THOUSAND PUNCH BARRAGE!

A barrage of punches was unleashed upon the core that already had several cracks on it. Despite the name of the technique he used, it was hard to say how many punches actually landed. The number of them that hit the core was quite enough, though. They got the job done. 

After that, the battered core shattered into a million pieces.
