The Beginning of The Rumbling

Ymir looked confused.

"Are you sure your power rivals mine? What more can you want."

"It's not enough, I want more of it."

She nodded and tapped my chest. As soon as Ymir touched my chest, I felt power coursing through me.

This feeling of power was far stronger than the times I ate my fellow Titan Shifters.

Memories enveloped my mind, memories of Ymir, and how she was treated by the king as a slave.

I also got the memories of the worm that gave Ymir her Titan Power.

It's basically an organism that is biologically immortal and has supernatural powers.

However, it can not access its own power, and only its host can use its power. This organism was there since the Big Bang.

Apparently, it was the first sign of life that came from the big bang, and has been floating in space before coming to Earth.

It required a host in order to keep on surviving so it came to Earth.

I could also feel its emotions and thoughts. The Worm despises Ymir for being so submissive and pathetic.

The worm hated how Ymir obeyed every command the king gave her.

Not only did I gain its memories, but I also gained knowledge of its abilities.

The abilities are all nine Titan powers with some additional powers.

These additional powers are Electrokiniesis and biological immortality.

The immortality can only work due to the willpower of the host.

The reason why Titan Shifters had only thirteen years to live was because they were not the true host of the worm.

You see, when the worm latched on to Ymir, it didn't just give her Titan powers. It strengthened her body so that it could handle the power.

The holders of the nine Titans had no such enhancement, and thus, their body would dwgrad in the thirteenth year.

The worm had hoped that it could make the king its new host, but first, Ymir's body had to decay first, and it had to gain the power it gave to Ymir.

Before it could finish, making Ymir no longer its host, the king had his three daughters eat Ymir's corpse.

As a result, Ymir was stuck in the paths.

The paths were the mindscape of the worm itself, and it was used in case its host's entire body was destroyed and had to reform, then return to the physical world.

And the rest is history, Ymir decided to stay being a slave of the royal family, and the worm was stuck with her.

It could switch hosts as Ymir had to return to the physical world first.

The worm was trapped and watched as Ymir slaved away, feeling hopeless. Until now.

The worm saw me and watched as I grew in power. It could sense my desire for power and to conquer everything.

The worm was impressed by intelligence and knowledge and was further impressed when I enhanced my body.

As it watched me devour other Titan Shifters, its excitement grew. I was the ideal host for it.

I was strong, smart, prideful, strong-willed, and a king.

So the worm patiently waited for me to consume all the other Titan Shifters, and when Ymir transferred her power, she also gave me the worm.

So the worm is basically inside me now, and I could feel it. It respects me and swore loyalty to me as it saw me as a worthy host.

I was back into the physical world, and I looked at my hands that had cracks all over it.

The feeling of power kept growing until a beam of light engulfed me.

3rd person POV

A beam of light engulfed the Emperor of Eldians.

The loyal soldiers of the Eldian Empire watched as the walls began crumbling down, revealing the Colossal Titans.

Suddenly, everyone heard a godly roar that came from the beam of yellow light.

The Colossal Titans began moving, and the Light began to disappear, and what stood was a true Titan.

Everyone watched with their mouths wide open.

The Eldian soldiers watched with happiness and worship at the huge Titan whilst the Marleyans watched with horror, and some began praying to God.

The huge Titan was enormous, and it towered over the Colossal Titans. It had long black hair and bulging muscles.

The Titan began speaking, its voice deep, and menacing.

"My soldiers, kill the Marleyan scum that is in our home. I shall carry on the rumbling and kill all our enemies."

The soldiers of the Eldian Empire began to kill all the remaining Marleyans, as the Eldian Emperor began walking with his Colossal Titans.

The Emperor decided to use his newfound power to communicate to all Eldians.

"Eldians of the world, I am David Fritz, the Eldian Emperor. I will give you this message because I plan on destroying all life outside Paradis Island. The reason why is because they all seek to destroy us all.

The entire world itself wishes for our destruction, but I reject that wish, so I freed all the Colossal Titans that are in the walls using the power of the Founding Titan.

My legions of Colossal Titans have begun their march and can not be stopped. I will destroy those who seek Paradis harm.

To those who are Eldians who do not live in Paradis will join our march, willingly or not. That is all."

The people of Paradis were happy and excited. They began chanting the Emperor's name over and over.

The Eldians that don't live in Paradis began glowing as lighting started forming around them.

Then lightning struck them as they all turned into Colossal Titans. They waited for their Emperor to arrive so that they may join his march.

MC POV

I towered over the Colossal Titans. Everything just looked so small. Even the Colossal Titans.

I decided to test out my Electrokiniesis, I raised my hand and shot yellow lightning from my hands.

It obliterated some of my Colossal Titans, but who cares, I can always make more.

My Colossal Titans began swimming, and I don't need to swim due to my sheer size.

I could see Marley and an army of Colossal Titans. They were waiting for my arrival, and the navy couldn't do shit to me.

The people of Marley began running, and then they saw me. Somehow, I could hear them speaking.

"T-that's him isn't it, David Bastian, the Attack Titan. It's really him. We're really going to die."

They all had a look of fear in their eyes.

They all sent one Colossal Titan, and I sent back an entire army of them.

I grinned at the sight of them running. They all look so small, like ants.

And they will be trampled on, like ants, and there's nothing they can do to change that because I hold the power here.

The Colossal Titans in Marley soon joined our march as we began to trample all over the buildings and the people.

This was the beginning of the rumbling.
