the event begins with a race

the day of the event arrives now because this is a temporary thing and not permanent no one is wearing their armor they are all wearing yukatas the parents went first starting with arthur then kathryn then came amelia christopher decided to go last

athena had already lowered her head as amelia walked up the stairs she really wanted to see what it felt like to do the ritual wearing zori she walked up to the edge and looked the dragon in the eye as she didn't even let it accept the outcome she decided she would truly conquer this dragon so she placed her foot on her snout applied more pressure then was necessary christopher was slightly annoyed at this so he decided he would take it even further she kept the pressure on athena's snout for a good minute before releasing she then stood there her foot resting on the dragons snout

"you are my slave" she whispered to athena who growled

"i only belong to christopher" she said back this caused amelia to smirk

"we shall see i will make you mine" amelia said she removed her foot and walked down the pedestal with a proud look on her face mythros then walked up to the pedestal and also laid his head down christopher walked up and while eyeing the dragon immediately raised his foot and placed it on the dragons snout he added the appropriate pressure but then he went even further he walked up the dragons snout to the top of the head that was elevated he lifted his foot and placed it on the top of the head above the eyes and applied pressure there too

"i have conquered you" christopher said with a confident smirk that served to piss off amelia and caused arthur and kathryn to smirk at their daughters anger what you get for trying to take athena away from him he one upped you they thought

he walked off the dragon jumping down from the snout not even bothering with the pedestal afterwards everyone changed into their equestrian clothes since after the event was always a race the bridle with the iron chain reins was already equipped so he mounted mythros as everyone else mounted their respective dragons and walked their dragons to the starting line the race was around the estate three times

a butler would call for the beginning of the race

"on your mark get set GO" the butler called everyone was pressing their heels into their dragons and slapping the reins but the one who went the fastest was mythros because of the pain he went through do to the iron chain reins it annoyed amelia to no end who started to push even harder with her heels and slap even more with reins she's glad they aren't wearing their armor because then mythros would probably be A bleeding already and B going even faster christopher slapped the reins as mythros was beginning to slow he was leaning forward on mythros's back as they were on the second go around he lapped them completely athena was inwardly smirking and excited for the event to end because then he would be controlling her like that when they arrived at the finish line christopher was just sitting on mythros's back for them to get here

"whelp i obliterated you" christopher said to the four riders in front of him amelia wasn't to pleased that she lost but she didn't expect to win either because of how he rides he gives more incentive to the dragons then she does and she knows it

"well done son you did indeed obliterate us even lapped us" arthur said kathryn smiling the whole time
