His brows joined together in confusion as he stretched his arm to hold hers but before he could, she was already far away from him, her back facing him as she hummed lightly. "What do you mean by that?" Sevastian asked her.
"By what Sir?" Delilah turned to look at him.
"By the words you just uttered to me. I want to know what you meant." He replied.
Delilah frowned as she looked like she was confused. "I do not know what you are speaking of Sir Sevastian." She offered him a small smile.
"Nonsense, you just said---"
"Do not push your luck Sevastian." Her voice changed from warm to cold.
The complete change in this woman's demeanor made him want to scream at her but he held himself as it would definitely anger the witch and no one wanted to see how an angry witch reacted including him. "Can I get the antidote now? You have had your dance."
