Missing Him
That night, Lin Qing slept in Su Ruan's room and the friends ended up chatting all night.
When Lin Qing woke up again, the sun had already risen up high. Lin Qing would prefer to sleep a little longer. However, the sounds that came from the bathroom made her sit up.
"Su Ruan?" Lin Qing rubbed the corner of her eyes. Her eyes narrowed as she heard the retching sounds in the bathroom continued.
Worried, Lin Qing stood up and walked over to the bathroom, and knocked on the door. "Su Ruan? Are you alright?"
The sounds finally stopped. Then, Lin Qing could hear the sounds of water. A while later, Su Ruan appeared at the door while wiping her mouth.
"What's wrong with you?" Lin Qing asked.
"Nothing." Su Ruan flashed an assuring smile. "I accidentally swallowed some toothpaste while brushing my teeth."
Lin Qing gave her friend a look over. She finally let out a breath of relief upon seeing that Su Ruan did not seem to be lying.
