In the car Jaxson tried to soothe Paige, he kissed her cheeks and forehead and held her close to his chest. This also helped ease his heart and gave his inner wolf peace. He didn't want to think about what could have happened if they had of arrived any later.
The car stopped again and he glanced up, he saw Lucian standing outside of a large house, which he presumed was a small hospital for Lucian's pack.
Dean had got out of the car and nodded at Alpha Lucian, he stood outside of the clinic with his arms folded, Dean turned and opened the door for Jaxson.
Axel got out of the car helping little cupcake, he checked him over and was relieved he was okay.
His son though rushed to follow Paige, basically ignoring his father, Axel could only smile. A son and his mother really are inseparable he thought.
Jaxson held on to Paige as he exited the car with her still in his arms.
