The sun rose over the horizon marking the beginning of a new day.
Slowly, Isis woke up, yawning and stretching.
Sitting up to find herself naked and covered with a blanket, confusion filled her eyes for a moment before she remembered everything from last night.
Immediately all the dizziness vanished from her eyes and her white face turned slightly pink due to a blush that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.
She remembered every single detail from the night before.
Every. Single. Detail.
And it further deepened the blush on her face.
But however embarrassed she might have been, she didn't feel a single ounce of guilt. In fact she felt she should have done this a long time ago…
'No that would have been a crime, the age for becoming an adult is eighteen, but he always appeared so adult…'
Anyway, she felt extremely happy.
In fact, she had slept so well that all her tension blew away. Somehow, she was even looking forward to the next time they would do it…
Her son had been gentle at the beginning and slightly rough and dominant towards the end, and she had loved every bit of it.
Strangely, the more Ray had commanded her and asked her to tell embarrassing things, the more aroused she had become. She had felt embarrassed about it before, but now she felt that she could do it without thinking twice.
She knew it was a weird way of thinking, but the mere thought of her son asking her to do more embarrassing things sent a shiver down her spine, and her lower lips started moistening.
'Not good… I have a lot of things to do…'
Shaking her head, Isis got up.
Going to the bath for around half an hour and cleaning herself, she came back to her cabinet where she kept her clothes.
Putting on a new pair of white panties, white laced bra, an elegant looking white and gold dress that showed not a hint of skin below the neck, white gloves that covered her open palms, her long shoes and looked at herself in the mirror.
Using mana to dry her hair, she let it fall freely on her back.
Once again, she looked like the most elegant, gentle and innocent empress.
Before she left her room she looked back to her bed.
Ray had cleaned it, put her to the bed and wished her good night.
It had been a long time since she had spent time with her son, and it was her long wish to be closer with him. Although not how she expected, her wish did come true and she felt that any other option could not have been better than the present.
Smiling, she left the room while thinking in her mind: 'I really love my son!'

Ray opened his eyes and sat on his bed.
He had spent the entire night trying to search through any tampering in his memories through his sub consciousness, using dream world.
'Nothing. I found nothing.'
Now Ray could think only two things how this was possible.
First, someone had somehow messed his memories with a divine rank spell or higher. His immediate thought went to the West Duke Valindra, but he shook his head. She didn't have any mind or memory related skill at all.
As for his second guess, if what he guessed had happened, then it was not bad for him.
'Anyway, I don't have any way of dealing with it now. Even if I do, I'll need at least a few hundred thousand points…'
As such, Ray decided to focus on the situation at hand.
'After today I'll just have three days before I am made the emperor… I have to step up my plans.'
At first Ray had decided to go East and cause a bit of chaos, because during his second life, taking advantage of the attack on him during the coronation, Hadwyn had grown too fearless, and started a chain of events that he seriously wanted to avoid.
'But now… I'll still cause chaos but without going anywhere…'
'In fact, I could probably play both teams here… hee hee…'
'But even thinking about that man makes me sick to my stomach…'
Hadwyn was a crazy person without any feelings for anyone. His only goal was survival.
The current duke that everyone called 'Dray Hadwyn' wasn't even Dray. In fact, only the physical body belonged to Dray, but his soul had been destroyed long since and his body had been taken over by Ermes.
Ermes Hadwyn, the previous East Duke, that had apparently 'died' of old age because of his weak physical body, never really died.
He was famous because of his strong psychic and emotional control abilities that could change a battlefield, and everyone knew that he had a weak body.
One day he had a son with his only wife whom she loved dearly and named Dray.
While his wife saw in the child a new life, her blood and hope, and a strong standing man in the future who would love her like his father never did, what she had in fate was really saddening.
Ermes pretended in front of the world that he loved both his wife and son, but never looked back at them once when he was alone.
One day when his wife was playing with her son, who had just turned two years old and was struggling to talk properly, laughing happily every chance he got, Ermes strode into the room wearing a serious expression.
In front of her he grabbed the child and used a spell unknown to her which suddenly made the little thing gasp for breath and then stop breathing.
Then without a word he placed the baby back to the ground and walked away.
When the poor mother who was watching everything with a shocked face got back her bearings, her son was not breathing. He was visibly dead.
Confused and heartbroken, she ran out with the dead child wrapped in her arms, to her husband's room, only to find him lying on the ground without breathing too.
In the next moment she felt something in her hands move and looking down she found her child slowly breathing again.
She was extremely elated. Her joy knew no bounds. She didn't care about her husband and didn't want to care about anything that had just happened. Her child wasn't dead was probably the only thing in her mind as tears of happiness started rolling down her eyes.
But in the very next second when the child opened its eyes, she was frightened.
At one glance she could tell that it was not her son. No, that gaze was extremely similar to her dead husband.
She lay the child down on the ground and stood up, tears still streaking her eyes.
Before she could overcome her confusion and shock, the child cried out in a heart wrenching scream, startling everyone in the mansion.
Before long, the duke's guards came rushing through and were shocked by the scene.
The Duke was lying there dead, the child was crying out loud and the duchess was standing a few inches behind the scene, with tears rolling down her eyes.
The guard leading the people was visibly enraged but before he could ask anything, the child, still crying pointed its fingers towards the duchess, further shocking everyone.
As expected, everyone bought the innocence of the child.
The duchess was captured.
News spread that the duchess wanted to take the title for herself and had killed her husband who had a weak body while he was sleeping, and also tried to kill the child but failed.
She was tortured for a few days, where people asked her to confess, but no matter what was done to her, she didn't speak a word. Her mouth didn't open once, nor did her eyes have any emotion.
A few days later an extremely ragged woman was brought for a public execution, to 'set an example' for plotting against high nobles.
While the innocent woman was being on a stage, her head about to be chopped off she didn't feel anything. Neither did her lips move nor did her eyelids shudder.
The people insulted her and she was named as a traitorous villain, but she didn't feel a thing.
But the moment before the sword was brought down on her neck, she found her 'child' being protected by the guards looking at her… with a smile on his face.
At that moment, whatever was left of her heart broke and all she felt for the world was hatred.
But the cruel world didn't let her cry, as a single teardrop left her eye, the sword came down and her vision turned black.
