Tang Xi frowns standing "Why did he stop talking?". She places her ear on the door trying to hear and pouts "Why is it silent?".

She opens the door and peers out. She realizes seeing no one in the room and sighs "At least he is not here to tease me anymore!".

She sits lightly disappointed in the bed without knowing why and sees the wardrobe left open. She walks towards it and sees it filled with Lu Cheng's clothes. I miss him!

She sees some documents scattered and smiles "May be he was in hurry?". She takes the files and sets in order. She stopped seeing a file and wonders "Medical reports? Whose?".

She opens and surprised "Lu Cheng was in rehabilitation centre for 2 years?". She reads further and sees his statements.

Her eyes gets wet seeing the reports as he has been asking himself for harsh treatments to remember the events.

Every reports after those severe treatments were two lines which he said. "Please help me remember. I can't remember anything !". Lu Cheng was literally pleading... Was it because of Jing?

She recalls his shameless attitude before and this reports now. How contrasting!

Her hands starts trembling and her heart pained to read further. If I came to him before, then he wouldn't have tortured himself right?.

She turns next page and tears fell from her eyes without knowing herself. She sees another folder and opens. She blinks repeatedly to get rid of the tears and controls her shaking hands.

Her face lost its life seeing the picture and she drops the file on the floor. Her mind was blank and her eyes frosty. Her eyes didn't react with tears now. Her mind was trying to understand what she saw just before.

She looks down after retrieving herself from a daze and picks the file which had a picture on its index page. She finds difficult to breath anymore and her heart was pounding fast as if it would stop anytime.

The picture had two persons, both were facing each other too closely. There was only an inch gap between their lips. Even though it showed only their side profiles, anyone can tell the man with the women was Lu Cheng, and he looked younger.

His girlfriend?

The background of the picture seemed to be some club. Tang Xi hurriedly opens the file further and finds other things were just related to some ...developing baby.

Jing?

Surrogate?

Her first thought was his surrogate that he told her before.

But why does he seem so close to her? Did they end up in love then?.

She reads further but couldn't find anything, other than the process of development of baby.

She searches for some other files like crazy but stopped hearing footsteps approaching.

She closes the wardrobe abruptly and gets anxious thinking "Lu Cheng?".

She wipes her tears and gets onto the bed. She pulls the blanket covering herself completely and bites her lips hard to stop shivering.

The door opened and Tang Xi subconsciously shuddered.

"Young Miss? Are you sick?".

Tang Xi sighs relaxed and calms herself.

Aunt Song walks towards the bed and tries to pull the blanket. But Tang Xi says "Aunt Song...I am tired...Let me rest please..".
