A Nightmare

Tang Xi's lips twitched 'Which grandchildren is he referring? Is he including Lu Cheng in the list?'. Her anger increased to its peak seeing Lu Cheng smiling at her.

She gets an urge to take a vase and break it over his head. But all she could do now is digest her anger and looked at the kids.

Lu Cheng sees Grandpa walked out and walks towards Tang Xi. Tang Xi really wanted to stay with the kids. But She is too exhausted to face Lu Cheng.

Before Lu Cheng could speak, Tang Xi walks out leaving him sad. Soon Aunt Song entered the room to look after the kids.

Lu Cheng clenched his fist and walks out. He doesn't want to allow her to think too much and wanted to apologize before she could take any extreme decision about their relationship!!.

Tang Xi freshens up and lays in Jing's bed. It is free now as Jing slept in Yei's room.She tosses and turns. She couldn't understand with her tired body why couldn't she sleep?!.

She kicks the quilt in frustration and walks out wearing a sweater. She noticed that Lu's old house garden was quite good but didn't get a chance to take walk on Jing's Birthday party.

Lu Cheng brought them immediately after the party ended.She gets angry recalling that night and fumes. This man is eating my brain!

She takes long strides and mumbles "I will get rid of his thoughts". As soon as she kept her foot out, a cold wind brushed her face made her to shiver.

She purses her lips and tucks her both hands in her sweater pocket.She starts strolling around the garden. She never imagined walking in night would be so peaceful.

Her lips curved up relaxing her mood. She sees a stone chair and sits leaning. The garden is too quite other than small sounds of bugs and flies.

She looks at the sky and stars embellishing. Soon her exhaustion took action and eyelids closed. She feels its getting too cold and trembles in sleep.

She drifted into a nightmare where Mu Hao kept in the cold room.She was shivering and was kicked. She struggles to breath and started heaving badly.

She sees Jing lying before her unconscious and forwards her hand to hold him. She tries everything but still couldn't touch him.

She panics seeing him disappearing slowly and screams. Her eyes filled with tears and couldn't see anymore.

She sees Lu Cheng's face and felt warm filled over her heart.She sees him patting her face and saying something. Even though she couldn't hear what he was saying, she could sense the panic in his eyes.

Why is he panicking? Is he not going to save me?
