Treasure hunt

Nick was slightly worried that he had somehow offended a user of the misfortune laws since he couldn't think of any other reason for the freak incidents that been plaguing him for the past week. nick was glad that he was so durable since many of the weird things that had happened to him were enough to kill most average cultivators. nick spent the next two days increasing his cultivation bit by bit until he reached twenty five percent spiritual impurity removal at which point nick could tell that he had hit some sort of bottleneck. this bottleneck had nothing to do with his talent but rather his level of experience was not high enough to continue at his usual speed. the most well known method to fix this issue was either to find a treasure to push you through the bottleneck. this was easier said then done since treasures like that didn't just fall into ones lap. or at least that is what nick thought until he caught wind of news on just such a treasure. the treasure in question was a purity fruit that just so happened to remove five percent of one spiritual impurities.

Nick was slightly suspicious of the news since it was far too unlikely that he would just so happen to hear about the exact thing he need right when he needed it. after searching the city for all of the news on this treasure nick couldn't help but give up on his witch hunt since the news seemed legit. in the end nick decided that he would follow the news and try to get this fruit while also making sure that he doesn't get caught in some sort of a trap. nick entered a part of the inn that couldn't be spied on and used the thousand faces technique to change both his appearance as well as his aura making tracking him a fools errand. as an extra precaution nick even left a talisman with his aura in the place he changed to trick others. unknown to nick these methods were pointless since there was another person watching him from a nearby shadow as he completed his precautions. this person was extremely envious that nick had such a crazy technique since they wouldn't have had to learn this concealment law if they had it instead.

Nick made his way out of the city with a brand new face and aura making his departure quick and simple since no one recognized him.
