Servant beast

The clerk frowned at nicks words before carefully reading the mission paper and confirming that what nick said was indeed true. "be that as it may i need to know what you plan on doing with the beast for the mission log." the clerk said all business once more. "oh , i was going to give it to my new servant as a gift." nick said casually causing the clerk to pause momentarily before writing that down. "if that is all then we are done here please make way for the next person." the clerk said after sealing the mission paper in a jade cylinder and putting it away. nick nodded and left calmly before heading over to the teleportation hub and teleporting back to his house. what nick didn't know was that the elder in charge of the missions was informed of the unusual manner in which nick completed his mission in order to determine if the details on that type of mission needed to be fixed. the elder denied this since only the truly strong could use such a method to begin with so targeting such a pointless technicality would be more detrimental than anything else.

Nick was greeted by sarina when he arrived home at which point he acknowledged her efforts before mentioning some corrections to her cultivation. after returning nick released the ape and tyrion so the ape could get comfortable around sarina. despite its rather cold treatment of her sarina maintained her enthusiasm towards it which softened it up considerably. while not friendly in the slightest the ape was at least not intentionally mean towards sarina anymore which was progress as far as nick was concerned. nick spent the next month before he had to take his next mission polishing sarina's foundation while updating his pill recipes that had fallen behind his current strength. this was quite time consuming for nick since the materials he could use at his level had been greatly limited due to rarity. as a result after a month of mental simulations only one viable pill was thought up and even then nick hadn't put it to the test yet. when the time for nick to take another mission came he left his house picked up a simple inscribing mission then finished it in a few hours and turned it in before returning home.
