Potent pills and bloodline traits

Nick waited for his energies to recover before taking the next step and swallowing a pill. immediately a flood of medicinal energy tore through nicks body and he realized he might have deduced the pill formula a little too well. the pill quickly began to rip nicks body apart before rebuilding the damaged area even stronger than before like rearranging legos into a more suitable shape. whats worse was that since nicks body had sublimated when it reached the seventh tier any true damage it suffered was felt much more clearly by nick. this meant that the agony caused by body refinement had been elevated to an entirely new level. this agony wasn't without its upsides however as more of nicks body was reformed by the potent pill essence he began to feel inklings of his bloodline granting him something. as for what that something was nick couldn't tell since the feeling was too faint. the reason for this change was that all high level bloodlines had innate traits that made them special and nicks was no different. however unlike those born with such bloodlines individuals like nick who could be considered the progenitors had to discover these traits via the process of refining themselves.

This is not to say that there are no traits that were noticeable immediately since this wasn't true. take nick for example , the moment nick formed his bloodline three traits made themselves noticeable immediately. the first was the extreme vitality more crazy than even a cockroach that made healing most injures trivial. the second was the heightened strength trait that was obtained when his bloodline ate the dragon kings bloodline. the final one was not extremely noticeable at first since it was quite situational but was the most useful when it activated. this trait was what nick obtained from millea's bloodline called dark presence , this trait made nick similar to a devil that subtly influenced those around him to see him in a better light regardless of any prejudices they had before hand. as far as bloodline traits were concerned nick was quite lucky with his pronounced traits since most bloodlines only had a single one upon its first formation. nicks traits were even more pronounced thanks to the fact his bloodline was formed at the royal level due to the combining of so many high level bloodlines as well as his own uniqueness.
