In a town called Camelton lived Susine Verlak, a demon bearer and a werewolf turned against her will by a powerful guild. She is now a part of the ‘SaberFate’ guild hall along with her friends Bruno, Kaleb, and Carla. After a dreadful dream one night, Susine and her friends set out on an adventure to turn her dream into reality. The four troublemakers were met with various obstacles which included Carla’s motion sickness and facing their rival guildhall. But what they didn’t know is that Susine’s past will come back to haunt her… In such times of complicated scenarios, they are made aware of an unexpected truth that is linked to the blinds of the past. Choices were to be made and betrayals to be suffered through. What will they choose?

CHAPTER 23

I was shocked. It was Carla, Bruno, and, surprisingly, Rafe who entered through the portal. All of them unharmed and in one piece. Carla and Bruno were smiling while Rafe seemed like he would rather be anywhere else.

Kaleb helped me in a standing position and we both hugged our friends who came back to help us.

“What happened to you guys these past few days? How did you know where we were? And why in hell's name is Rafe here!” Kaleb started bombarding them with questions.

“We dragged him here, we thought you might need extra manpower.” Bruno chuckled.

“We will tell you everything later, we have more pressing matters at hand now.” Carla pointed forward.

Megiculus and Charlie finally stepped forward.

They both finally started coming towards us, ready to fight. We were ready as well. Everyone was gathered together facing them as they walked.
