A Missing Necklace II.
I took the black dress Lyla brought and placed it on the bed. It was beautiful. I took it from my mother's wardrobe in the Royal store.
Tonight was going to be anniversary night. It has been years since she has gone to rest with the lord. I ran my fingers through the dress and tears dropped from my eyes.
I could spend time with my mother because she died a few days after I was born. My aunt said she was a lovely woman. Her relationship with father was great until she passed away.
But there was something I did not understand. If father claimed to love my mother so much, why did he remarry seven days after her death?
It was strange and sad that he did not mourn his precious wife properly.
"Should I touch the dress again, my lady?" Lyla asked. She washed and added a little design to the dress. It was gigantic but beautiful. I just wanted it to be perfect for tonight.
