By the time Hella woke up, the sun was already above the horizon. She tried to open her eyes, but her body felt so heavy that she thought she would fall back to sleep again.
"Argh…" he winced, feeling a headache as soon as she forced her eyes open, which made her close them up again and a hand shooting to her forehead. Giving herself a little massage, she opened her eyes again, very slowly.
Once her vision adjusted to her surroundings, she looked around and realized that she was back at the mansion. In her and Helios' bedroom. A small smile appeared on her lips.
"Are you hurt?" The deep and familiar voice of Helios came from beside her, causing her to look beside her, now noticing the hand holding her under the sheets around her hips.
She looked at him, meeting his observant eyes. "No. Besides the mild headache, I am fine," she replied but he didn't say a word. "I am not lying," she pursed her lips, thinking he didn't believe her.
